Could men use PCC and EW for workouts so they can lift more weight with the temporary

testosterone boost? Is that possible/safe?

Sure, I

do it. I also use a little TE under my nose.

But for a longer term T boost take a zinc suppliment.

There was a

study not long ago that said it was quite healthy for men to (just) look at big breasts. Might be a solution for

your problem.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

So what effect do you want to

obtain from boosting your T levels?

Do you want to be more aggressive, a better lover, a more muscular

guy?

Some of these goals are long term, some are immediate, some are better achieved via other methods than just

boosting T.

Well, I\'m a \'nice guy\' but like it that way, a great lover

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif, so I guess that leaves more muscular. I\'ve been lifting

weights for years and have the ripped abs and chiseled chest, but I still want to be bigger. Steroids are stupid,

and I\'m a damn exomorph so I have too small of a bone structure to get tons of muscle easily. I know a few small

ways to increase testosterone levels, so I thought maybe the pheromone thing would boost testosterone production so

I could make more gains at the gym.

I

think that\'s \"ectomorph\", and, if true, means you should settle for ripped. Most non-steroidal means of

Why do you try spending a few months doing

The guys at the gym say creatine bulks up muscle--

but can cause temporary bloat, during loading phase. They also speak well of protein powders with \"nitrogen

Pancho, I have seen your pics and

you don\'t look that skinny at all (At least you are not skinnier than me ...).

What is your weight/height?

Pancho1188
11-08-2003, 09:01 AM
Must be flattering

pictures... Believe me, I\'ve spent my whole life being called, \"Toothpick\", \"Skinny boy\", etc... Not to

mention having girls come up to me telling me they wish they had my figure... That\'s the one that stings the

most... Anyway...

I\'m 6\'1, and my weight range in the past year has been from 150-170. It usually floats

around 158-162, with the 150 being when I was reeeeeeeally sick and the 170 being when I worked out every day and

had large, home-cooked meals every day. I was a beast then, but the college Ramen-Noodle diet due to lack of

cashflow tends to make you lose about 10 pounds in less than a month easy when you\'re still working out at least

4 times a week. Oh, well. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

<hr

I know that all too well...

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Why did/do you work out 4 times a week then? Better cut it down

to 2-3 times a week, makes building up muscle easier.

At my gym they recommend you don\'t work out more than

2-3 times if you want to gain muscles.. This is my experience as well.

Pancho1188
11-08-2003, 09:34 AM
Well, I work out different

muscle groups. While one group is resting, I\'m at the gym working out another - Like upper body one day and

lower the other.

franki
11-08-2003, 09:41 AM
Aha, I already thought you would

do different exercises... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Pancho1188
11-08-2003, 09:52 AM
Oh, okay. Sorry, I didn\'t

mean to offend you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

In my experience (going on 6 years), the

2-3 days/week advice is generally for people who (for example) do bench press every time they work out. In other

words, they\'re counterproductive because they keep breaking down the muscles but don\'t give them enough time

to rebuild during rest, which is where you actually gain the muscle (as opposed to the gym). Although this also

applies to people as they get older because they need more time to rest between workouts to recover. Nothing wrong

with that, just the body\'s natural cycle. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Besides, I usually

only lift 3 times per week and run the rest of the time. In essence, I\'m doing what you said.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Go me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Sometimes

you just have to accept who you are and then you\'ll be happier. Besides, I\'m sure some people are mad at me

because I\'m complaining about being small even though I have a six-pack, chiseled chest, and V-shape going. It

just hurts the ol\' self-esteem when you work so hard and look good under your clothes but people still treat you

like a \'skinny guy that can eat anything because of my high metabolism\'... Yeah, like it has nothing to do

with my workout regimen or balanced diet... Grrr... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I can relate, to some degree. Though, \"bulk\" isn\'t nearly

the issue for women (because we DON\'T, and we wouldn\'t want to do).

I\'m an ectomorph. 5\'7\", 120#.

I always wanted to look like Karen Voight. That won\'t ever happen. Have to settle for \"defined.

Which I am

NOT, at the moment, as much as I used to be. The body is still good (36.5-24.5-35.5), but a little \"softer\" than

it was when I was a dancer.

So, I am back in the gym, and was advised on supplements by a bodybuilder friend of

mine. But, he\'s a MAJOR mesomorph. He gets bulked AND ripped fairly quickly.

Ectomorphs seem to develop more

slowly, and don\'t gain as much mass. We just get tighter. But, at least we don\'t have the endomorph problem of

also having to lose a layer of fat.

Oh! Ladies-- one of the yahoogroups is about \"naturist\" bodybuilders.

Ripped naked guys. There\'s also one of ripped naked ladies-- it has a membership of over 1,000.

I joined the

naked males site-- just to motivate me at the gym, of course.
