Oil-based covers

I don\'t know if anyone has noticed this, but my results are usually a lot better with oil-based covers, rather than alcohol ones.

Has anyone noticed this pattern, or something different from what I have seen?

I imagine that it is something similar to using oil based phero products, they last longer and release slower.
