Is there anything to speed up the process of puberty?

The hormones being added to milk seem to be doing a great job of speeding things up. Breasts on 11 year old girls? Didn\'t have that when I was in grade school. The smart ass male pig part of me would have added \"sadly\" to the last sentence but the mature male pig part of me thinks that Fing with Mother Nature is the sad thing.

I got armpit in the fourth grade, I\'m in 9th grade now and I barely shave, leg hair is hardly anything.

I dont understand how old that makes you, but i see 5 years is quite long. Some people just take a while, all i can advise is keep living healthy, good diet, exercise etc.

Speeding up puberty seems redundant eh? I mean you are still 14 no matter what, no porn, no this and no that etc..... I doubt you really need to speed up anything enjoy the time where you don\'t have to get a job, someone provides for you, and you can always use your age as a crutch hehe. Facial hair is always one of the latest events to come during puberty...There are a lot of 18 year olds who don\'t have full beards. Technically you don\'t stop growing until you are around 21-22. Some people are just going to be more hairy than others, it has a lot to do with hormones and genetic disposition. I can get really hairy, I think when I was in 9th grade I had back hair then. Really though it\'s not \"hot\" and I doubt women seek it out. Look as feminine as you can, grow your hair long women love that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Heck, I\'ve still got bald spots in my beard area and I\'m waaaaaay past puberty!!!!

But I DO have hair on my chest---and they both are doing just fine, thank you! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I developed fairly early, but I\'m still growing, albeit slowly.

Heh. Same.. and I\'m in my mid 20s.

To the original poster: you are probably well within the range of \"normal\". If you\'re actually worried, go to the doctor and get an endocrine workup. And if you live near any heavy manufacturing or industry (especially plastics), convince your parents to move. :-P
