Ok, so I may be behind the times, but yesterday I discovered \'Plumeria\' perfume from TerraNova, formerly known as the Body Shop. It starts out fruity and a little sweet, but soon dries down with notes of Gardenia and Magnolia to a much richer blend. It\'s not quite exactly plumeria, but it\'s pretty close. I really like it, and the guy friend I was with liked it more. I almost didn\'t buy it, but he practically begged me too. He said it smelled really good, smelled like \'me\', and proceeded to spray it on himself, because he said if I wasn\'t going to get it, then he was going to spray it on himself so he could smell it the rest of the day. So I got some. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Anybody else tried this? I think it\'d blend well with PCC or some of the other lighter-scented products. I\'ll have to try another day to see how it does with AEw, TEw, etc.

I don\'t understand.
What is TerraNova? We still have the Body Shop here. Did some change over?

I did a google on TerraNova scents, and found this website:
http://uncommonscents.com/terranova.html (\"http://uncommonscents.com/terranova.html\")
And on that page, was this quote: \"TerraNova®, formerly The Body Shop...\"
So it seems to me they\'ve changed names? Maybe I misread it or something?

SRH, is it similar to B&BW Plumeria? I have several of their products in that scent and love them.

You know, I really don\'t remember. I might have to make a trip over there this weekend and compare.

Hey, speaking of B&BW:
Are their EO\'s really EO\'s? And if so, how much does their Sandalwood run? Anybody know? I don\'t remember it being all that much, which had me wondering.

I didn\'t realize they *had* EOs. I don\'t think I\'d buy from them anyway. Even if they are for real, the mark-up is sure to be considerable. Which brings up another question...
Where *IS* a good, reputable, and relatively inexpensive (I realize that EOs are not cheap, so that\'s why I said \'relatively\') place to buy EOs?? And please guys, don\'t just do a search and slap down some links- I can do that myself, thanks. Seriously, if you\'ve had a good experience ordering EOs from a particular retailer, I\'d be interested in getting the info. PM me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Look at your local health food/natural food stores. They tend to have at least a few.

Oh, I\'ve found several retailers that sell them (some even locally), but I\'m looking for reputable places that sell them in bulk, or at least larger amounts with price breaks.

I really like the brand Aura Cacia, and they do sell in larger sizes.
They have a website: http://www.frontiercoop.com (\"http://www.frontiercoop.com\")
And you can shop online from them too. I don\'t know of any particular chain-type store that has them. At least not that I\'ve been to.

i think that sandlewood EO is always about 30 in the places around here. it is the small size, the only size i have seen in stores, but don;t know how many ml, sorry

Well, that\'d make it about right to a little on the expensive side, so maybe they are real EO\'s.
Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The oils I have now are AuraCacia and I do like them. I\'ve been looking around online, and this site keeps drawing me back...
http://www.essentialoil.net (\"http://www.essentialoil.net\")
They have an incredibly large selection of supplies and their prices are good. I\'ve ordered from them before, but not EOs, so I\'m not sure if the lower price is just b/c they sell in bulk or b/c the oils are not good quality. Has anyone ordered EOs from Camden-Grey?

Elana--well finally! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
That looks like a good site, DVK, but I haven\'t ordered from them. The prices look REALLY good, lots better than Aura Cacia--even in the smaller sizes, so I\'m like you and I wonder if the quality is as good. I need to be able to look at the color and sniff for myself, damm!t! lol
That\'s a good source for amber bottles though, whatever else you might need them for. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey, Elana!
You\'re in Miami. Have you ever been to Camden Grey for EO\'s or anything else?
Elana

I have never been to Camden Grey. It\'s only opened a few days a week. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I get my EO\'s at Whole Foods Market.

Hey Ladies-
I\'d be interested to know if anyone finds a good web source for EOs, as well. I\'ve been buying from local shops, but I have to run around all over the valley to find everything. Most of my oils are from Aura Cacia (it\'s everywhere around here) and I like them pretty well. I also have some nice, very inxepensive oils from Kuumba Made (\"Tunisian Amber\" & \"Oriental Musk\") and a great Jasmine absolute from Odashi (~ $19/ml). My only complaint about the Odashi is that it\'s extremely difficult to get a drop from the tiny opening and it makes it a real challenge to accurately determine just how much I get each time. Wait a minute...I just pulled the price tag off of the vial and discovered that Odashi is made in Petaluma, CA...that\'s about 45 minutes from me...guess I better check to see if they have a retail outlet there. I gotta wonder if I could get a better price straight from the source...suppose it\'s worth a try, huh. Oh, I also have sandalwood from Trinity Essentials...it\'s OK, but no mention of whether it\'s Tamill or Myrose, so I wonder exactly what it is. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif All of Trinity\'s oils are very inexpensive, so I\'ve wondered about the overall quality of their products. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Anyone have experience w/ their stuff?
BTW, I have a few web sites that sell EO\'s and I think one or two may sell in bulk. Guess I \'d better double check before I become stricken w/ foot-in-mouth syndrome...yet, again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif If anyone\'s interested in a link, then PM me and I\'d be happy to share. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: your post #90809
A friend of mine (an aromatherapist in London) told me she prefers the Tisserand EO and other products -including a limited range of organic EO. She might be partial because she studied with them, but you can Google and find out-I\'m not really sure about this forum policy on posting links to other websites.

Thanks #0. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif It\'s cool to post links here, as long as they aren\'t to competitor sites (pheromones). I\'ll check out Tisserand.

Alrighty then, I guess I shorten it to #9 (N9) instead of #0. N0 just doesn\'t look right. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
