Okay, so from my understanding, pheros really take effect about an hour after application. They fade at about 3-5 hrs(skin app). -nol and -rone convert to none after like 6-8 hours. The question is , do nol and rone convert to none, then lose effect? or do they just fade away at 3-5, and thats it?

\"There have been a lot of discussions in the forum about this issue... The truth is that the conversion from -nol to -none does happen, but it won\'t be a big issue for -nol products users. Androstenol (which is a secondary alcohol) differs from androstenone (which is a ketone) because of two hydrogen atoms that the latter lacks: these can be converted to water if an adequate catalyst is present. The chemical reaction would be as follows:

C19H30O (androstenol) + (oxygen) = C19H28O (androstenone) + H2O

Luckily, in the usual wearing conditions, there isn\'t a catalyst strong enough to make this reaction happen fast, so the -nol will anyway convert to -none since it\'s exposed to oxidation, but it\'s going to happen very slowly. To get the idea SoE, which contains -nol, is reported to first show signs of -none alteration only after 8 hours from first application.\"

- That was in the newbie section. i assume you got your info from that. The rate at which oxygen would oxidize nol is so small, that the applied nol would be in equilibrium w/ a K of about 10e-15. probably way less than your body produces. its not a concern.

Rone is not in equilibrium with none. Just look at the stucture, its impossible.

I am SO sorry to ask this. Why would we want to convert NOL to NONE or why should we be interested in the conversion? Totally out of ignorace.

Well, for some reason, none works almost in negative ways for some people. Or at certain times, ie during a woman\'s period. People got paranoid who want to just use nol and nothing else.

My theory about the period thing... There are studies that show women prefer a masculine type of man when she is very fertile, but a more caring one during her period. The theory is that, high testosterone males, with protruding foreheads and large jaws, exhibit characteristics of very heathy people. (Testosterone is killed by sickness/disease). So once a woman gets her genes from the fit males, 2 weeks later, she needs a man to care for her and be gentle. every man knows it pays to be caring when your chick is on her period. A woman would be turned off by -none during ovulation because this alpha male aint sticking around, he has no reason to. I supose you need to understand a little evolutionary biology to get all that. Read The Sex Contract by Helen Fisher. Shes a friend of Kohl (scent of eros), btw.

Use -none when shes fertile.
Use -nol when shes ovulating.

Its that simple

There was a theory being thrown around just before I got on to the forum. The way that attraction works in nature is in the begining a person secretes a large amount of -nol to attract females and to promote fliriting in both the person secreting the -nol and the intended mates. As time progresses, a small amount of the -nol converts to -none to promote sex. This gives the explanation as to why a small amount of -none works as to opposed to large amounts.

Thanks a lot. But then why apply NONE right away? If the attraction starts with nice (NOL) and then alpha (NONE) and if NOL products convert to NONE in 5-6 hours, then what more can I want? Imagine you meet a girl. You have NOL. Both of you are chatty and friendly with NOL boost and after several hours NOL transforms into NONE just when you need to get things down and dirty. God! Why the hell would I use NONE?

You can use a small ammount of -none and a higher ammount of -nol, so that your sexual aura is always stronger than normal (becoming even stronger as hours pass by). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

But then at a club you want to go with high -none to stand out from the rest, and most of the women go there for same thing anyway, so there is no need for an ice breaker (-nol).

She is most fertile mid cycle. about 1.5 weeks before her period

I thought ovulation was synonamous w/ her period. But just to clear things up, is NOL on her period.

Your body produces None naturally, usually about half the nol concentration. These pheromones were measured by a bunch of researchers. Search the j. of mol. bio. for it.

Also good argument for minimizing -nol.

% of -nol on body varies greatly with body part. Lots on flat, hairless parts, virtually none at at in crotch/pits, etc.

Which i think is also why -nol (in particular SOE) goes rancid on some people.

If you don\'t just have a PDF reader but the actually editor (writer) program I believe you can, though it would all be converted into plain text I suggest you just download it.

It depends on the PDF. Some are protected. For those that aren\'t, go to the tool bar and select the \"Text Select Tool\". You should now be able to copy and paste text.

IMHO: I ve been more \"watched\" by chicks around me. But till this time NO-ONE had come (over) to me .
