There\'s an interesting thread currently active on the newsgroup rec.drugs.smart titled pramiracetam?!?! (with the punctuation at the end).

I\'m mentioning it because I know there are several nootropics/ cognitive enhancement enthusiasts here. The more recent posts in this thread hint at the possibility that this supplement, currently off the market, might possibly someday perhaps be made available again.

Don\'t get your hopes up... at this time, it\'s only a possibility. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I\'ll tried them all and they all seem to be the same - looks to me that the most cost effective one is piracetam. I couldn\'t tell the difference except on my credit card!

Undeniably, PIR is the most cost-effective, PRAM the least. I have personally found PRAM to be the most motivating, PIR to be somewhat lightweight (although certainly worth my money), and Aniracetam the best all-around. Can\'t personally comment on any other -racetam, since I\'ve never tried them.

I\'m waiting patiently for the release of Ampakines: /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I belive Aniracetam is the best because it is known for sure in clincal trials to help with memory formation and consolidation. not to mention it is fat solubule so it will last longer than Piracetam(water soluble). I personally use Piracetam, because it is cheaper and you can take more of it without dropping a load of cash. Aniracetam is too expensive because it has to be imported from overseas(UK) and is more potent. Piracetam until the past 4 or 5 months has only been available from overseas through places like www.smart-drugs.com (\"http://www.smart-drugs.com\") and www.antiaging-systems.com. (\"http://www.antiaging-systems.com.\") There is one California company that is now having it made by themselves. You may have herd of Sherwyn\'s health/supplement store.(www.sherwyns.com) type in Piracetam in the search area to bring up the products. they have it seems like a 120capsule and 240 capsule bottles. I order the 240 capsules of piracetam, because they frequently sell out of it quickly and it takes them up to 3 months to get it back in stock. It is only about 50 dollars for the 240 capsules. Finally the price can be cut down because it is coming from in the US. (www.smart-drugs.com has some good information on piracetam)

I concur with your opinion of Aniracetam, and strongly recommend reading the USENET thread referenced in my original post, since Sherwyn\'s is mentioned in it. Personally, I\'ve never had any problem ordering from QHI (\"http://qhi.co.uk\") .

Also, the Ampakines I mentioned are a class of advanced nootropics similar to Aniracetam, but purportedly much more powerful. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
