View Full Version : Any advantages of NPA over TE?

When it comes to LaCroy products I have been a heavy TE user, I am getting way too curious about NPA though. I know its bascially the same product just 4x times as concentrated as TE but still I am human and I am wondering if any of the guys have had better or more heightened results with NPA opposed to TE? I am just wondering if its worth it. I already stocked up a bit on my SOE but if its not I will just buy more SOE, ahhh thanks.

NPA is easier to mix and so can be applied at an optimum with the cover scent while TE comes out one squirt at a time.

The additional alcohol content of TE seems to spread it out more and so you get higher doses quicker - that can mean more OD potential too.

I\'m partial to NPA after trying both.

Yeah, same w/ me on the NPA. I\'m liking it a LOT w/ my 3:1 AE:NPA mix. TE I have to put too much on, and end up odor OD\'ing before I -none OD. W/ NPA, 2 drops and I\'m on the virge of both where I get my best hits as to this date.

yeah good points guys, do you think the additional alcohol in TE shortens the effectivness of the -mones compared to NPA.

Thanks for your comments Jon and whitehall.

tallmacky,

If you buy NPA you can take a portion of the bottle and mix in some ethanol to make some TE.
But you cannot do the converse.

In that respect NPA is like a \"Buy One, Get One Free\" purchase.

Honestly, I usually have far

better results when I use TE (well, actually it's EE Heat)...

I ran out of NPA but I have a full

bottle of The Edge, so your basically saying that it's not necessary to rebuy the NPA at this time?

I think what Oscar said in that post was that with NPA, you can dillute

it to make the Edge. But you can't easily concentrate the Edge down to NPA levels of pheromone/volume.

Other

than concentration levels, they are reported to have the same ingredients.

DCWIf you already have the TE, then you may as well use it. Keep in mind that TE is 1/4 the

concentration of NPA. That doesn't necessarily mean that you should go overboard w/ your TE dosage. Try anywhere

from a few dabs to one spray. I doubt that you'll find too many ppl who would recommend more than one spray.

Since you're dealing w/ a more diluted product, you may encounter a bit of a learning curve in determinng the

correct dosage for you.

Personally, I prefer NPA as it is more versitile. Since I tend to premix, I don't have

to worry about TE diluting the other components in my mixes. I feel that I have better control of the concentration

levels by using NPA.

Personally, I use NPA over Edge except

when I am after a particular Edge fragrance. Lately, it has been Heat; a while back it was Edge

Sandalwood.

Is NPA decent at grabbing attention

and respect like PI is? I need a replacement phero soon because my bottle is runnin lowwwwww and I've been eyeing

NPA for sometime now.

I think NPA is more sexual in

the hits compared to PI. I usually like to use PI when I have to give a presentation or something like that. But

when I'm just out on the town, I like to use TE or a diluted mix of NPA. Also, with NPA, there is a smell that can

be a bit distracting, whereas PI unscented doesn't have a scent to most people.

How

is PI for sexual hits? do women respond well to it when used correctly?

I've never personally received

sexual hits off of PI. I only use it for the respect factor. The thing with PI is that it is incredibly easy to OD

on since it's so concentrated with a-none. I think a good application would be a little bit of PI (a dab or two,

no more than a drop), along with some SOE.

I haven't had sexual hits from PI

alone. I don't think none by itself is a great thing.

NPA is my favourite by far.

Amazing results with just two dabs behind the ears (one dab really spread out).
