You can also make a simplier but tasty cocktail from damiana liqueur and vodka and maybe a dash of water. It is quite pleasant tasting and still has some of the damiana effect with more alcohol punch.

It tastes really good. And you can get Nexcite off the internet although that sh!t\'s not cheap ...

i\'ve been reluctant to try it on dates because i kinda feel like i am drugging someone. i know it is not the same, but my instinct tells me not to.

It\'s harmless, really. Just all in good fun. If she feels a little buzz, it\'s not so much different at all than any other little liquor buzz.

Damiana liqueur is about 60 proof and is rather sweet. It has to be to cover the damiana herb which is \"green\" tasting and a tad bitter. The tea is easy enough to drink.

I\'ll sometimes just sip a port glass of the stuff straight although it lacks the complexity of a good port or a fancy liqueur. It does go down easily straight or mixed.

The bottle itself is a real hoot. It looks like a fecund woman, an empty Venus of Willendorf with bright yellow contents.

All you ladies are invited to come over sometime and I\'ll mix us a batch by the hot tub. Or invite ME over and I\'ll bring a bottle.

Well then you probably should not, if you really feel that way. The effect is not so much a cahnge in libido or a loss of inhibition (beyond the alcohol effect) but a physical engorgement and vasodilation of the genitals.

But yes, a warning and \"informed consent\" is strictly ethical. However, I have shared with friends when there was no question of sexual interest without my going into detail about its supposed \"aphrodisiacal\"effects.

BTW, it is fairly \"clean\" too so not much of a hangover threat which is unsually for sweet liqueurs.
