Which in that case would give the US of A a export advantage that would send a lot of european countries to the wall and bankruptcy, while at the same time giving the USA an advantage on world export markets, which would increase employment and make pheromones cheaper for non_US citizens.

Ebay sucks. It has become even more popular here in Germany than in the States, only because people want everything cheap, cheap and cheap ...

I think it\'s a good way to get rid of all that old crap in the basement, making some money in the progress.
I hate the German / Austrian site ... the people here don\'t know what they want or what they\'re doing.
But that\'s only my impression.

I agree with you about the general state of ignorance but that\'s not the reason why. The real reason is because the socialist elite in this country don\'t want the citizens to have a brain. Or guns either. They want us to be stupid and helpless so we rely on the government for everything!

Well, that\'s enough of that. Gotta head down to my barstool now. LETS GO DEVILS!!!!!

Exit, kind of off eh? I bet you love your guns, and wide open spaces ehh? I don\'t think the government is some evil monger that\'s a fairy tail or one trying to make a villian out of something or blame someone for their failure. You should watch Bowling for Columbine, or just look to our neighbor in the north, the truth is we have way too many guns and when you live out in the country honestly who is trying to hurt you?

If anyone wants they can pick up a map or look online no one is being held back in the US. I knew a guy that reminds me of you when I was working for kazaa for a short while. Do you live in the midwest?

TM,

How do you figure too many guns? Look at the statistics; very few crimes committed by legal gun owners. Lots of crimes committed by the illegal ones. A particularly interesting set of numbers came up when Florida became a concealed carry state. The incident of violent and weapons related crime DROPPED! There were a few fatalities, fewer criminals to clog the court system, but they did catch on after a while.

So, I ask you. If our great leaders know this, and they do, why do they push so hard to take guns out of the hands of the general population?

We have around 10,000 gun deaths a year, and you are telling me that most are caused by illegal gun owners, well not like it matters anyhow I doubt illegal gun owners are our problem seeing how countries like japan and german\'s gun deaths are 100 and below. Politicians are known for jumping on the bandwagoning of any movement whether positive or negative, many of the people I have talked to with that mind set are a bit warped and fearful of something, they usually live out in rural areas or in the middle of no where, why so many guns, why a gun at all to be blunt. I can\'t debate you on this subject as I am rusty and the dropping of facts scares me a bit (hate to be wrong).

I never thought the guns were the main problem, just a cause instead its the mindset of many Americans.

My philosopy always leans toward personal responsability and freedoms rather than government rules. We are weakened by our reliance on others thinking for us. A gun, like a car, carries certain obligations with it. I have no sympathy for the idiot who kills himself while drunk driving, the same applies to an ignorant gun owner. Making rules to protect us from ourselves is not going to make us safer, it is going to create more problems.

You mentiuon Japan\'s low gun death rate and it is correct. What you do not mention is the strong law enforcement in Japan. It\'s safe to say that a criminal will almost always be caught and punished in Japan, but not here. Even if caught, the penalties are so weak that it is rather futile to even take them to court.

I cannot speak to the German gun issues because I don\'t have facts but will point out that England has a very low death rate by legal gun owners due to the restrictions on gun ownership. Of course, that doesn\'t deal with the issue of illegal gun owners like the IRA and Sein Fein. They are criminals and terrorists and aren\'t all that concerned with minor legal details.

The real issue is not guns. It is personal freedoms, rights guaranteed in our constitution and government oppression. If one right can be abridged, so can all others. That includes free speach, public gatherings or even critisizing our government. Those are your rights and mine. To keep them, you need to exercise them.

You ask why a gun at all? Why a motorcycle or a knife or a jet ski or a book? Because that is what you choose to do and it is your right to do it without government interference.

tallmacky

You are not allowed to run around doing as you feel and marking that as your personal freedoms, I don\'t know? A jet ski is to ride, a book is to read, and a gun is to kill, now those are simply facts.

I am talking about overal gun deaths worldwide whether illegal or not, America has hundreds x the amount of other countries. A gun is too powerful to simply trust anyone with and assume they are able to take care of their \"personal responsibilites\". Where do we draw the lines? What if I want to own something more powerful like maybe small bombs and so on. It\'s too late to go back now though, nothing can stop people from having guns.

TM:

You said-
You are not allowed to run around doing as you feel and marking that as your personal freedoms, I don\'t know? A jet ski is to ride, a book is to read, and a gun is to kill, now those are simply facts.

Really? You aren\'t? When did that change? Can\'t a jet ski kill people? A book on how to mix chemicals certainly can kill. I\'ve owned a single hand gun and praticed with it since I was in my early twenties but have never killed with it. However, competing with others for marksmanship is a lot of fun. How about a bow, should we outlaw those as well? They are for killing and they are much quiter than a gun. How about the hunting slingshots? A 1/2\" steel ball is pretty deadly. Why are you picking on guns? Is it that you don\'t know any better? Or is your view of the world based solely on what you see on the television?

Your outlook is too simplistic. Study and learn with an open mind before you make such generalized statements. Once you allow a freedom to be taken away, you\'ll never get it back. And once you allow one freedom to be abridged, others will follow.
