Did any of you guys happen to catch the Fox show last night called Mr. Personality? One of the men is a motivational speaker. He is attempting to use those techniques that some of you talk about all of the time. He even does that thing were he says a key word and points to himself. Anyhow....he came off as a big time goof. Read the message board from people who have watched this show and see what they have to say about him. He is the motivational speaker and he is number 17.

Had he not done any of that goofy crap, he would have come off as a pretty cool guy. He seemed pretty confident and was well spoken.

By the way if he was a student of Tony Robbins, from what I understand he\'s not a sleazeball compared to Bishop &amp; Ross Jeffries. I\'m reading a book by him called Unlimited Power &amp; I\'ve read nothing similar to the RJ or Bishop technique, although I might have gotten his PG material - it\'s more geared towards reprogramming your OWN mind to succeed &amp; finding the keys to wealth &amp; happiness much more business related, I haven\'t found any seduction chapters in it. I wish I had seen the episode, I bet he didn\'t use any weasle phrases or patterns, just simple stuff like pointing to himself when he\'s talking. If he really did say \"17\" under his breath that would have been funny, I don\'t think that would have done anything for him. What better testing ground then on a national TV show when you get to wear a maks over your face &amp; you only have a few minutes to make an impression. I saw the show also and when he was trying all those techniques I was thinking of some the guys on this board trying all the hypnosis stuff on women. I\'ve only seen one episode, but it was the one where she and the creep had their date. He walked her down the stairs with her eyes closed and called her a princess ...look. He\'s good. That girl was HIGH on the whole experience with him. To me there was a significant difference even in the way she looked - cheeks flushed, eyes shining, eyes rolling back in her head when they kissed - she was finally firing on all six, she looked incandescent, to me. He tapped all into her little girl dreams and manifested them for her. I thought he did really well. The other dates were fun for her and she seems to enjoy the guys just fine, but the fun was centered around externals more than it was around bringing her an experience that takes her outside herself. Creep Dude took her outside herself. If he had the time to really establish trust, they could have a nice little thing. He\'s working in too short a time frame. But ... is it just me? I thought he did really well, judging by the effect he produced on her, not the methods he used to produce the effect. The only problem with that for her, if there is one, is that I suspect she doesn\'t realize the feelings she\'s enjoying with him have nothing whatsoever to do with whether or not he would be any sort of a suitable mate for her in real life.

Had Chris just been himself (if he even knows who that is) he may have won the girl. He has a very sexy voice and is naturally cool and comfortable in his own skin. Chris did not lose because Will told her anything. She confronted Chris about his whispering the number 17 and some of the others weird things he did. She knew there was something not right about him.

Chris came off as a phony. He didn\'t act like a normal man acts. He was always putting on little plays, and they made Haley uncomfortable. Haley fell in love with Will, because she could tell that Will honestly loved her. He was genuine through and through. Chris was an actor in a play.

I have to disagree.

I believe that the telling put it over the top.

First of all, this guy was using the techniques from teh START! And she DIDN\'T KNOW! If she knew she would have booted him, of course. lol

If she thought he was creepy he NEVER would have made it to the last round.

I believe that both would have been a bad choice. They both didn\'t like her, but rather did what it took to win. One lied and one used hypno techniques.

I can\'t say for sure that he would havfe one or not.
HOWEVER I AM SAYING (for the record) that she didn\'t find ANYTHING WRONG WITH HIM or she would have booted him earlier.
