I have no idea what is an Amouage. Anyone know what it is? I keep hearing people talk about it.

Amouage is supposedly the most expensive fragrance (perfume, cologne, etc) in the world. People have experienced phermone-like effects simply wearing the cologne, and many people are combining it\'s power with the synthetic pheromones sold on Love-scent. You can learn more about it by going to www.amouage.com (\"http://www.amouage.com\") or actually reading the forum (which I hope will not become saturated with worthless information since your arrival) and quit posting stupid questions in order to bump up your post count. Becoming a full member takes atleast 6 months to a year of informative posts or previously undiscussed questions. Hope this helps!

Amouage is the best perfume/cologne in the world...for real..no really!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Just because something is expensive and has exotic ingredients doesn\'t mean it\'s better. They have ingredients like asian yak ass in it..just kidding, but they have some extreme rare things in it.

Hey, I like that! Do you mind if I use that? It\'s got quite a ring to it. \"I don\'t give an asian yak\'s ass...\"

FTR,
Were you saying that I was out of line? Sorry for getting a little hot for a minute there, but you might want to read this thread (http://www.server2.love-scent.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB5&Number=65951&page=1&v iew=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1). I share the feelings of the other guys when it come to people posting BS in order to pump up their post count. Seeing as atleast some kind of information dealing with Amouage has been on the front page of the forum for quite some time now, it doesn\'t seem hard to deduce what it actually is. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I took time to explain what it actually was.

As far as my post count: I have been a member of this forum for quite a few months now. I think maybe 5 or 6. Yes, I have only posted 12 posts...and I have only posted 12 because I do not want to saturate the forum (and bug members) with questions that have already been answered. Hence my name, Observationist. All of my posts have dealt with applicable issues where new evidence can be presented. A couple about the use of DHEA as a pheromone, a couple about the -nol content of SPMO, and couple attempting to help a girl with pre-mature ejaculation issues with her boyfriend. So yes, I have only made 12 informative or properly inquisative posts. Not 20 regarding nonsense or already convered information. Your statement only further proves my point Enticing.

Later!

Amouage means \"Wave of emotion(s)\"

That\'s what I thought the question was about... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You\'re right. Amouage is not even close to the most expensive perfume, by the way, but it is indeed great as a perfuming accomplishment.

That does not mean a person will like it better than something else.

Clive Christian Introduces the World\'s Most Expensive Perfume
Sep 5, 2001/FWD/ --- Allure, Acqua di Gio, L\'Eau d\'Issey - everyone\'s wearing them. For the woman who\'s looking for a truly signature scent, Clive Christian Perfume has introduced a scent that the woman next to you on the subway probably won\'t be wearing. Why? It costs $1,820.

The most expensive perfume in the world, Clive Christian\'s No.1 contains the \"finest\" (for 2,000 bucks it better be) sandalwood and Indian jasmine. The women\'s version also incorporates bergamot, lime, mandarin and white peach vitessence, while the men\'s scent has notes of cedarwood and cardamon oil. The 30 ml bottles feature a white brilliant cut diamond on their necks.

The British brand is now available at Bergdorf Goodman, just in time for the holiday rush. No. 1 will make the perfect stocking stuffer for the one you love ... a whole, whole lot.

Tried this one, Doc?

Any idea of where one might ask (beg /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) for samples?

The only ingredients that would justify such a price are rare animal compounds like in Amouage or high rated aloeswood (high rated Jinkoh and Kyara), jasmine might be quite expensive too, but not that expensive.

No but I\'ve made that type of scent myself. Jasmine could push it up there if a particularly good year and crop. But I doubt the price would be worth it unless you had very specific reasons for wanting that perfume. Oud is quite pricey, but a little goes a long way.

That was the perfume I had in mind. I\'d love to try it.

Did you read about the illegal shipment of amber (I\'m assuming it is for perfume) confiscated in Russia? What\'s the deal on that?
