Apparently, according to the Intimate Research support email I received today, the .25 oz. Super Primal musk oil contains alot more -nol than we have previously assumed. Intimate Research (the makers of the oil) reported that the -nol concentration is .04% (or .4 mg/ml). Anyway, I\'ve been trying to figure this out for a long time, so I hoped I\'d help a few people out.

thanks a lot, observationist.

that\'s essential information, I\'ve been looking for. Could you post the whole reply message by IR?

Sure...but it really isn\'t that exciting. I went on their website and saw that they were selling Super Primal Pheromone oil. Of course this oil came in the all to familiar scents musk, vanilla, and citrus in 2 oz. containers for $99. At the bottom of the page, there was some promo where if you bought the 2 oz. bottle, you got a \"valued at $14.95\" .25 oz. bottle of the super primal oil (exactly what Bruce sells). I emailed them asking what and how much it contained, and this was the reply...short and sweet I guess. Oh yeah, and I removed my email addy in order to protect the innocent <img src=\"/ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif\">.

that is pretty concentrated. isn\'t that similar to the concentration of none in PI and RM?

That is very good information - which if bruce can verify it then it can be updated on the charts etc.

Are you sure these are the same products?

I asked specifically about the .25 oz oil, and if you do the math, the $14.95 value makes sense. ($99 / 8 = $12.37).
As far as the concentration, yes that seems quite high. Not quite PI though, more like AFA and considerably lower (relatively speaking) than say...NPA (.048%). Still, much higher that SOE. As far as the manufacturer says on the website, their colognes (the ones that Bruce sells - Yes, etc.) are meant to be used alone. The oil is supposedly 10X the concentration...which would make sense of the numbers. I do, however, think that it is quite odd that Bruce doesn\'t report the supposedly high amount of pheromones reported in their colognes (he suggest they be used for mixing with NPA) and in the oil. I don\'t really think that he believes what they say about the amount and would rather leave it at \"it contains some amount of -nol.\" Bruce...could you help us out? How much did they tell you that they contained?

Are we talking about SPMO or SPC?????? These are two COMPLETELY different products! Super Primal Musk Oil is given out as a free sample and Super Primal Concentrate is the top-of-the-line product from IR. SPMO is scented, SPC is not. SPC is the $99 product. I wish someone would get the bottom line on the Nol content of SPC ... I am still experimenting with Chem Kit NOL to see how it compares with SPC. But I am not a chemist and don\'t know how much NOL is in a product unless someone tells me. I know the Chem Kit NOL gives me a headache if I use too much and a whole bottle of SPC never did that. That would tell me the Chem Kit is stronger, but I still wish that IR would just go public with that info. Or at least tell the wholesalers ....

<sigh>...Cuddlebear...what a respected member within the pheromone community. I wish you would do a little research before making your comments. SPC (according to IR) is the same product as SPMO. If you went on the IR website, you would discover that you can buy your (SPC) in 4 different flavors - the unscented, musk, vanilla, or citrus. According to your comment..you can only buy the $99 product as being unscented. This is a completely false statement seeing as I have bought their $99 product in a musk scent. Please, I think we would all like to get to the bottom of this discussion by understanding the TRUE amount of -nol in this product. Please do not hinder our advances with false information. Bruce...might we receive your opinions?

Before you respond, I hope to clarify my earlier statements. Not contradicting anything I have previously stated, SUPER PRIMAL OIL can be bought in 4 different scents, including the MUSK scent. You seem to think that the -nol concentration and even the scent is different between the two. While I can only quote IR in representing that they are the same, I will have you know that what you call SPC (Super Primal Oil Concentrate...the $99 product) CAN BE BOUGHT IN 3 DIFFERENT SCENTS. The price ratio only confirms IR\'s statements regarding the EXACT CONTENTS of each. Agreeing with your earlier statement, I agree that SPMO (or SPC for that matter) does NOT contain the same quality/quantity as the chem-set -nol because of the physical phenotypical results (less noticable reactions) and because of the more subtle observations (including the lack of headaches). The desire of Bruce\'s opinion is still valid.

I have the Spmo musk. (freebie) It\'s very sweet smelling IMO. I don\'t wear it because it reminds me of the seventies. I don\'t wanna smell like Disco Stu.

If anybody out there has been told they smell good wearin that stuff, let me know. Cause I\'m afraid of it.

What\'s the Doctors prognosis on this stuff?
