There\'s been much discussion about how bacteria living on the skin surface convert androstenol to androstenone and generally break down pheromones.

They also create odors which many people find offensive.

Some people may like these odors, but I prefer to retain only the pheromones my own body produces and those I apply deliberately, and not to rely on bacterial action.

That\'s why I decided to try using Purell in my armpits, and I find that it works.

Method:

- wash normally
- towel dry
- rub purell under arms and leave there (it dries quickly)

Result:
- no pit stink... only lovely natural pheromone scents.

For those not in the USA, Purell is a gel containing 62% ethyl alcohol and is touted as killing 99.99% of all common bacteria. Rubbing alcohol would work just as well.

Do you see a significant change in results? From purely natural pheros i mean, without applying synthetics.

A similar method is to put some aftershave in you pits.

Alcohol based colognes do the same thing, it just really burns when you put anything with alcohol under your pits. I get lots of hits using that method (without the use of synthetic pheromone products), I just have to get all sweaty and kill myself at the gym the problem is, is that it only lasts until you take a shower cause all your phero\'s get washed off in the process.

Out of curiosity, did you come across the alcohol based cologne method yourself or did you read it on here from one of my posts a while back?

It was all out of curiousity I wanted to see if I can spray cologne under my pits and not use Deoderant and not smell bad at the same time....... Actually I remember now I did\'nt want the smell of the deoderant screwing up the smell of my cologne.

how is purell different than any other sanitizer? Is it because it is in a gel form?

No. Look at bivonic\'s link, above. It\'s less than 5 dollars. Any drugstore.

I don\'t know about this. Seems like you\'d end up with super-resistant armpit bacteria.

$50+ bucks for an antibacterial soap with some alcohol in it sounds a bit pricey. That has to be a typo, just go to shopping.yahoo.com & type in Purell, you\'ll find a ton of stuff for under $10, I believe it\'s the same stuff you found, just different packaging, but I could be wrong. The guy that started this thread could advise us better, where\'d u go???

That\'s hillarious, I did see some amouage go for like $72, I was an idiot & did not pay close enough attention to the auction, it was partially used, but he swore it was 9/10ths full, that would have been a freaking steal at that price!

I can\'t find purell hand sanitizer in Singapore so I try other brand hand sanitizer. Also in gel form. Nice smell sweet smelling but still haven\'t test to sweat myself up. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
