?

I haven\'t gotten any compliments on Acqua di Gio. I don\'t know what that means. People never comment on my smell.

This is a different question than BEST COLOGNE by the way.

I\'d say I\'m close enough, I get hugs and stuff.

Why don\'t you just ask them if they like it?

I think of it as a kinda weird question. I thought they just commented to you that.

I find the most compliments come when the girls find that they\'re comftable with me they just say \"mmm... you smell good\" they usually say it when they\'re flirting with you. I find when I smell really good girls are just like flies they hover all around you and just dont go away.

Dolce and Gabbanna gets me the most compliments.

Is Creed a good brand? I\'m actually looking for something very classy and exquisite. Something P Diddy. Something \"Hi I smoke cigars, listen to free jazz, and wear really expensive clothes\' if you catch my drift. Elegant. Haha. Money is no object.

I just goto Macy\'s, find a nice sales clerk, get lots of samples, try em out, find whats best for me and buy whatever\'s good.

Cologne recommendations are all over this forum. That is why the \"search\" feature is so useful.

This is a tough question when you consider it\'s much like -mones in that what works for me might not work for you as we have differant chemistrys and what smells good on me might smell like something died on you...go shopping and get what YOU like as it\'s no more than a confidence booster and cover anyways..It makes you feel good..it will make others notice.

True, but having said that: Whitehall says Creed \"Green Irish Tweed\" and the tobacco Creed one, I believe, also Christian Dior \"Eau Savage\" Oscar also likes Creed; DrST says Hermes \"Bel Ami\"; Bassman\'s wearing Thierry Mugler\'s \"Angel\" for men lately, and wears Gaultier \"Le Male.\" If you\'re after spending money and smelling sophisticated, any of those would do you.

Curve is also quite nice, and reasonably inexpensive if bought at a discount place, e.g. $32 for 4.2 ounces at Walmart. It holds its own against Acqua di Gio level competition, which is to say anything less exalted than the newly-mentioned $200/bottle stuff. Very good scent for the buck.

My two fav\'s:

Hugo Boss (Bottled, i think thats what it\'s actually called, the one that comes in the silver/grey box)

Le Male

SOE - would love to get hold of just a fragranced version

Are you talking about Boss in motion? (the one in the spherical sprayer) I really like the smell of that one too.
