I have a full bottle of AE I never used and left it accidently in the direct sun and heat for a couple of hrs, the temperature reached about 50 degrees celcius in the car! Does this mean the pheromones have been damaged and destroyed? Does anyone know?

The pheromones won\'t be destroyed until they reach 150 degrees celcius.

I do wish somebody would check that with Phil Stone. I think the 150 C is coming from the sheet that comes with the Chem Set. The quote would be:
In reply to:

if you\'d rather have them fully dissolved, you can gently warm the vials in hot water (though not over 150 degrees C)

Since water boils at 100 degrees C, and EtOH boils considerably before that, gently warming the vials in hot water to 150 C would be entertaining at best.
More likely they start to denature around 150 degrees F.
