Interesting enough I read somewhere that France actually has a pretty good size Aircraft Carrier & they are going to be docking it in Crete at the US Naval port this week, but of course not for military support, they are there to run some trials later in the week assuming the weather holds up - no wonder they always surrender, they can only operate when it\'s sunny. JOKE - easy on the flames, just helping take some of the pressure off my comrade Gerund! Seriously thought I\'d be surprised if any of the American soldiers mix up with the French, the port at Crete from what I read was instrumental in the Persian Gulf War. Maybe it\'s a precautionary measure in case France changes it\'s mind? It is kind of odd to dock it there only to run some practice runs? Sounds like a dangerous spot to be doing that if a war does break out.
