Anybody know anything about the principles of Feng Shui? I want to know where to put a hot tub and not die suddenly, lose my money or my marriage. I\'m serious.

I know a bit about it. There is more than one kind actually, and it all depends on how \"superstitious\" (if you want to call it that) you want to get. I\'ve pretty much got my apartment feng shui-ed by direction and color. If you want, I could recommend a book or two that I like. There are so many though, and I don\'t think any two really say exactly the same thing. Also, there are some that go in for things like having to put a red dot on the ceiling above a sink, or removing ceiling fans from above the bed, but I\'m not into it that much. And besides, I couldn\'t sleep if I didn\'t have the ceiling fan over my bed!

I have bought every book at the bookstore on it and tried to apply it to my home. I\'m confused about where to put water features (hot tub). The house faces west, and the placement of the house and lot are good. If you are standing at the front door looking inside the house, the pool will be on the right side of the house protected by the dragon hills. There is a fountain in front of the house.

Would it be bad to put the hot tub in the back part of the lot, between the turtle hills and the tiger hill? I can put it anywhere, though.

Honestly, that confused me so much, that I didn\'t get into it that far. I go by the location of the main front door of the house and work with the quadrants from there.
There is a pretty good website you can ask though. It\'s http://www.dragon-gate.com (\"http://www.dragon-gate.com\")
Scroll down the first page and you\'ll find a section called \"wind and jade\" I believe on the left side that answers questions, and fairly quickly too. They can probably help you better than I ever could.
