The country, not the food. Well, GB the food too, long as it is well cooked.

Maybe the French will take a hint from them...

Screw the French. Even if some evil people took out their major landmarks, they would still sit there with their thumbs up their ass. Actually they would then want Uncle Sucker to fight their battles for them then.

I am sure the French are nice people, but their government has been way too self-serving over the times.

I am someone of positive nature. When I was in France, no french person was bad to me, so from that I draw the conclusion they are not bad (in general). The government has not been very nice: they make the northern European countries (Germany, Holland, Britain, Sweden, Austria) pay billions of Euro\'s for their farmers, while they are just as rich as most of the northern countries.

That\'s how I came to form an opinion. I was in France several times and I was appalled at how rude the people were.

I think most people in all countries are good people. The goverments of most nations tend to be self serving. Unfortunatly, some leaders are diabolical. They support cowardly terroism and try to aquire weapons of mass destrution with the will to use them.

Hey, can I do that too?/ubbthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif

Honestly, they are disliked mainly because of their insistance to talk their language only.

My favorite European country is Italy, in a travel perspective of course.

OK-First stop...the Statue of David. I\'ll need at least 4 hours to stare at that magnificent creature. Ivan, I love Florence too, but nothing beats Rome. /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif
