I see so many references to it, but no explanation of what it stands for.

Thanks!

DIHL stands for \"Deer In Headlights Look\" which the link Sympatible provided will tell you, but that term refers to the kind of spaced-out look someone will give you when they are totally \"into you\" ... Cuddles /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

p.s. a DIHL is often an indication that mones are working ...

Like the look of a guy checking the girl out but just in reverse, a signal of sexual attraction at an inital level (the old eyes locking across the room etc)
Those sideways glances that most men miss and women in relationships do well checking out other males.

No, Watcher, it\'s not like that. That\'s cognitive - conscious inspection of a prospective mate.

A DIHL is where the target spaces out and gets dreamy - no conscienous thought involved.

DIHL feels like you\'ve flipped into another realm of consciousness, like a switch was thrown. It feels literally like you\'re walking on air, like the ground beneath you dropped. DIHL is an altered state. Your whole body feels different, even feels electrical, like something electrical is happening. Little hairs stand up, you feel shocked like a mild electrical shock. It hits you like a whammy, BOOM!

It\'s very different from checking someone out, or looking at someone for a couple of seconds.

Dude... I just described one good one I had in my \"Is DIHL and failure??\" thread. If you read it you should be able to get a pretty good idea! /ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif
