I just saw this a couple nights ago: according to these sources, androstadienone and estratetraene are \"often included in perfumes and colognes\".
Here are the links (both found on love-scent.com):

Interesting....you\'re right:

\"For their study, the two researchers tested women’s and men’s responses to two steroids produced by the human body and often included in perfumes and colognes: androstadienone, which is produced by men, and estratetraene, which is produced by women.\"

One question comes to mind, what in the hell is estratetraene?

I think they are using a common name for the compound 1, 3, 5(10), 16-ESTRATETRAEN-3-OL, which is a female pheromone.

I haven\'t seen conclusive studies as to whether this pheromone actually attracts men or makes men feel any positive feelings. I\'ve tried some and have not found that it gives me (a male) any sort of euphoria.
