Wishing all of you Mad Scientist and Mad Scientist Wanna Be[s] a Thanksgiving that has you in a relaxed state of being, full of fattening goodies, happiness, and plenty of smiles. \"The Night Of THANKSGIVING!\"
\'Twas the night of Thanksgiving, and I just couldn\'t sleep!
I tried counting backwards, I even tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned, the dark meat and white,
But I fought the temptation with all of my might!
I was tossing and turning with starving anticipation,
And the dream of a snack became my infatuation.
So I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door,
And gazed at the fridge, full of sweets and goodies galore!
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
Stuffing and carrots and peas and tomatoes!
I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
And all of a sudden, I rose off the ground!
I crashed through the ceiling and into the sky,
With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
But I managed to yell as I soared past the trees,
\"Happy eating to all...Save me some sweet potatoe pie, please!\"
No one heard me, as I floated into the sky,
Only wondering who would get that last piece of pie,
I was close to the North Star, when my stomach popped,
I awoke from my dream the very moment, I started to drop,
Be careful at that table, or it may not be a dream,
It could very well be you that floats off, from the Thanksgiving scene!
