I\'ve been seeing Pheromones mentioned a lot in entertainment, like television and movies. Just recently saw \"Blade 2\" where Blade uses vampire Pheromones to attract the enemy. In tonight\'s episode of \"Smallville\"(9 p.m. on the WB) a teenage Clark Kent encounters a woman who has the ability to control mens minds by emitting a Pheromone mist(sounds like EW). I thought it might be funny watching this episode to see if their accurate, maybe one of the writers buys products from love-scent. lol

I dunno about this...

I think it is still very widely believed that pheromones are chemicals that only animals (men is an animal, too, I know, but...) \'use\' in order to communicate. My guess is that by saying that the vampires from Blade 2 use pheromones to communicate, the producres/writers want to show us that they\'re not \'developped\' as far as us humans. They kinda look human, they act like humans in a lot of ways, but by saying that they communicate by using pheromones, you put them closer to savage, threatening animals or other organisms in the course of evolution.

I always thought vampires had a better sense of smell and sensitive to their environment. Even to the point of seeing in the dark, at least that\'s what Hollywood has portrayed these characters to be. In the coming attraction I saw on TV for Smallville the woman is sweating a little to activate her pheromones, which makes sense. Even to the point where Clark Kent is also sweating but he\'s a Alien from another planet. It would be nice to check out if they discuss the topic of Pheromones in that episode. It would probably get more people into the love-scent WebSite.
