If copulins increase testosterone levels, is it possible that some andro-based pheromones decrease it?

Could we be decreasing our testosterone by wearing pheromones on a regular basis?

Is there any experimental evidence to show what effect andro-based pheros have on testosterone or other hormone levels in males who wear them?

Sorry, I was out of town (riding my motorcycle, of course). I doubt that androgenic pheromones would decrease testosterone in most cases. However, if some burly body builder shared enough personal space with you, his pheromones might lower your testosterone level. There\'s some research by James Dabbs that says winners in various situations have higher T levels than losers. The most likely explanation is pheromones, but very difficult
to predict or quantify. Other research says that a progesteronic pheromone (as when a woman has her period) decreases testosterone levels in men. Simply put, lots of communication occurs without notice.
