Pardon my laziness and lack of science (or would that be art?).

It seems that somewhere in this forum I read that 1,3,5,8,13 is a close approximation to a phi sequence. Is this true?

Better yet, does phi = some formula or some fraction, so that I can figure out my own sequence?

My current favorite is 1,3,4,12 and I was thinking of trying 1,3,5,13 to see if there’s any improvement. Is this a valid test of phi ratios, or does every number in the sequence need to be included?

Finally, someone mentioned a None heavy formula, based on phi, that worked well and smelled natural. What was it? I just got more None and would like to give it a shot.

The fibronacci sequence is the approximation to phi.

1,2,3,5,8,13,21. Cross off the first two numbers, as they\'re too rough.

Do a search here if you want more info. It\'s easy.
