Hey all you nursing types, what is the historical average weight of a healthy man vs. a woman? My guess is 150, 130, but I could be way off. I\'ll say why I asked this later.

dunno, but you\'d probaly need hight as well for it to be relavent. if your worried about your own weight a body fat % test would be best.

Historical average would be impossible without knowing what time period you want. \"Healthy\" relates to weight:height ratio, and human heights are slowly increasing over time.

I agree it all depends on height, for example, 170lbs would be healthy for someone who is 5\'11\", but equally unhealthy for someone who is 7\'2\" or someone who is 5\'4\"
