APC's odor

APC doesn\'t smell too good on me (whereas SOE, for instance, smells better than preposterously awesome). I\'m wondering what\'s in APC, since it\'s got the odor of 1) inexpensive supermarket-brand shaving gel; 2) corn silk/ corn oil; 3) a trace of artificial grape soda. The label simply lists \"Fragrance\" among the ingredients.

I think it smells pretty good. I think it\'s said to be somewhat like Coolwater...

Well, I ought to say that I think APC smells just fine (although not tremendous) when it\'s in the bottle, but I just don\'t like to wear it.

I\'m not sure about it smelling like Cool Water, cant see that myself. But iirc the essential oil used is Benzoin (or Benzoin Stryrax- probably spelt wrong).

I think its a bit strange how this product gets such mixed reviews, some value it only as a cover scent, while others use it on its own with some success.

To get the best idea of what it smells like on you, put a dab on one wrist, rub both wrists together, and leave for a minute.
