I think Xcite wipes blow use SOE gel and supplements for body building? Whey protein is good but they\'ve got some new stuff out now called Nitro-tech advanced whey that\'s supposed to be the bomb check it out here: http://www.muscletech.com/PRODUCTS/NITRO-Tech/MAIN/Nitro-Tech.asp

If you\'re fat you don\'t need to mess around with supplements. Use the trend mill and weight lift at the same time. Buy bodybuilding mags and do the four days a week work out like the pros to get cut really fast. I\'m a fat slob now, when I get back in the gym all my friends freak out cause I\'m cut in about two months. Remember the chest and stomach are most important but don\'t ignore the legs. The arms are easy but should get a daily work out. Give your muscle groups 24 hrs to rest. Stay away from creatine.

Bat, the Muscletech product line has been getting ripped by the regulars over at the www.bodybuilding.com (\"http://www.bodybuilding.com\") forums - apparantly, they don\'t think very highly of them.

Also, why would you recommend against using Creatine?

I would recommend the following:

A good Protien powder, Glutamine, Creatine, Flax Oil and a Multi-vitamin.

until you start to become developed

FOOOODD !! :-)

plenty of calories, plenty of protein. tuna and chicken breast is your friend. whey protein is a good source of protein, especialy post workout, but proper food is better, if a little more time consuming.

dont be afraid of getting fat (within reason!) until your maybe 10lbs over your target weight, then you can think about cutting down to expose your muscle and look really ripped ;-)

Nutt\'s right. Aside from the Protein supps food is all you need. And creatine isn\'t all it\'s crakced up to be. The tablets don\'t really do anything and the powders can be dangerous to the liver if used incorrectly. Do the protein, eat well and work out hard and I can garuntee in less than two month you will see the difference and if you don\'t others will. Start off with a good two hour work out to shock the body a little then get into a good routine of bicycling, doing the treadmill (for weight loss) and lifting for muscle. Heavier weight build muscle fast but the repititions are most important. Heavy weight and reps are the ulitmate if you can do all that.

For gaining Muscle, Losing fat, raising NATURAL testosterone (which is far better than any supplement could hope to be, except if you are supplementing with actual testosterone, aka: BULLS semen, aka:Steroids) /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif, please read the thread right now about TEstosterone Maximizing Diet which is:

if you are too lazy to click the \'back\' button on your browser.
This diet assumes you are active, and not sedintary, meaning goto gym 3 times a week for 30-45 min. It will work wonders, make you lose tons of fat WITHOUT looking like an AIDS paitent, which tradition calorie depletion diets with high carbs result in.

I just use the Bowflex, so I don\'t have to GO anywhere. I look at it this way: In the time it takes to drive to the gym, for which you\'ve paid several hundred dollars, you can be well into the routine.

Ace would disagree with my first method of working out, which was an all-over, dripping on the floor, 3-hour grunt-fest, 3-4 times a week. I\'m presently splitting that up into six-days, at two different workouts. Today is chest / shoulders / arms / midsection. Tomorrow is upper back / lower back / legs / midsection. I still have to work in the cardio.

As for food, much agreement with the chicken & tuna crowd; I\'ve been eating MUCH more vegetables (raw, mostly) and lots o\' fruit (see Love Foods thread!). I can\'t say I weigh less, since muscle weighs more than fat; I look and feel better. Of course, I don\'t live on the scale, either.

Here\'s the best tip I can give the carb junkies (junk carbs, that is): just don\'t buy the chips, cookies, cakes, etc. There are some really interesting fruits out there, that taste really good.

Well my personal take on this is as follows.

- Drink plenty of water
_ i do upper body work 6 days a week
- A run around touch footy match 1 tiem a week

Use whey protein powders drink milk also.
Plenty of carbohydrates are essential as are essential vitamins so therefore eat fruit and vegies and zinc supplements are good. And all up plenty of sleep i use 60 pounds on a barbell. As standard and bump up to 90 pounds for a heavy less repetition type of workout and push overself to puffing stage as this will make the body recover quicker and benefits are good and cant stress enough to boost natural testostorone levels ie super horny goatweed and tribulus supplements also.
For older men DHEA can be helpful.

Watcher,
I couldn\'t find the original post, but here\'s a website that sells testo-booster stuff:
http://www.mephisto-subliminal.com/ (\"http://www.mephisto-subliminal.com/\")
They have all this other stuff too; I think I\'m gonna give it a whirl, too.
God, I love spending money; just wish I had some! /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif
