Since so many pheromone users have noted adverse effects on the wearer, I was wondering if there\'s any safe, temporary way to block your own VNO that doesn\'t involve walking around with styrofoam or cotton wadding in your nose.
Bruce: maybe Stone Labs could concoct some VNO-B-GONE spray... ? There might be a legitimate market for something like that -- both for those who wanted to remain unswayed by their own pheros; and for those (primarily women, I\'m betting) who wanted to immunize against unwanted advances.
(It doesn\'t appear dangerous not to have a functioning VNO, since some people seem not to have them in the first place, and others lose them from rhinoplasty or injury.)
