Anybody can update the table, Including SOE and Andro 1, ETC ?
I think the table is old enough and need to be updated

Tom,

I compiled the majority of the data on that table, but Randy from Pittsburg put it into spreadsheet form and found it a home on the web. And I wouldn\'t alter someone else\'s work even if I knew how.

The problem is, Randy has disappeared.

If someone else can provide a site for an updated version, I\'ll be happy to work up the necessary additions and corrections.

If the old \"Phero Talk\" board was still accessible, you\'d also see that on the original thread that spawned that table, \"Product Information\", could be found a paragraph-form description of the packaging, scent, dispensing method, inert ingredient and phero content breakdown, and manufacturer for each product.

I printed that thread after posting it, so the info is all still intact. There\'s just no way I know of to get it back on the board without posting it all over again though.

I have seen another version of the chart out there that someone put together. Maybe if THAT person is still with us we could make the updates on his table.
SPEAK UP IF YOU\'RE HERE!

Maybe someday! images/icons/crazy.gif

I\'ve saved a copy of the original Excel spreadsheet onto my Yahoo Briefcase - look for it at:
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/6f58608d/bc/My+Folder/Pheromone+Comparisons.xls? bc_9o_8A1vfUtbYt (\"http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/6f58608d/bc/My+Folder/Pheromone+Comparisons.xls?bc_9o_8A1vfUtbYt\")

I had saved on my computer some time ago. Someone needs to update it - lacking a volunteer, I might be able to get to it within a week. Anyone is welcomed to download it but only I can post revisions here (I hope!)

Hello,

Have a look here: http://love-scent.com/product-table.html (\"http://love-scent.com/product-table.html\")

A board member sent me the html page a few days ago and I just uploaded it to love-scent.com. I don\'t know his screen name, so I can\'t say who it was now. I haven\'t really checked it out too much, but it is in a more adaptable format that the last one was. I see the chem set items in there, so there must be some things that weren\'t in the old one. I don\'t see SOE or andro1 on there though. If anyone wants to update this further, I don\'t think the author would mind, but I can check. For my part I promise to keep a chart located at this spot. http://love-scent.com/product-table.html (\"http://love-scent.com/product-table.html\")
Furhtermore, if and when any updates of this table are sent to me (in uploadable html format) I will immediately upload them to this same spot as long as the changes seem to be a clear improvement and represent the general interests of the forum. In fact, maybe I will just immediately upload virtually anything sent to me (either in html format or a simple text document that can easily be turned into html) and forum members can check them all out and give them the thumbs up or down. How about that? If anyone has any sort of assembled info (list of useful links, FAQ type materials; newbie basics, whatever) send it too me and I WILL GET IT UP AT LOVE-SCENT.COM where folks can have a look at and easily refer folks too. I can make an index page too.

Very sorry I have been so lame in supporting these great forum efforts. I have gotten some freshly updated lists of the abreviations table sent to me by e-mail and I will upload them somewhere for reference as well and get back to the forum with the location. I will post separate threads about getting a new FAQ sheet together and reincarnating the lost forum materials. I\'m going to put this project \"at the top of my stack\" as my accountant says. It is a shame to leave all this valuable info floating around where it can be lost forever.

(belatedly) At your service,
Bruce

Whitehall,

WOW! I think that\'s the first incarnation of the chart. I don\'t even recall who put that one together, (someone in Portugal, I think! Was it CCC?).
It does have the \"block #11\" info on it though, which is great.

But the data is so old that there\'s no scented Edge; Attraction is listed at the old erroneous \"8.8mg.\" ; P10/w, PI/w, Chem-Sets, and of course SOE and A1 (among others) are missing; packaging of AE has changed; etc., etc.

Suggestions? images/icons/crazy.gif

Bruce,

Nice!
That\'s the most recent updated version of Randy\'s chart that you\'ve got there. I believe in giving credit where credit is due.

So how can we plug in the missing data. Can someone pull this down and open it, add the new stuff and send it back to you to re-post? Because I know I can\'t. For all my phero research, I\'m still quite lame when it comes to computer stuff. images/icons/crazy.gif

Hold the presses!
I changed the location of the Product Table file. I created a folder (directory) called \"reference\" which will contain all these types of files. Soon I will create an index file for now there are two documents: http://www.love-scent.com/reference/product-table.html (\"http://www.love-scent.com/reference/product-table.html\")
and http://www.love-scent.com/reference/abbreviations.html (\"http://www.love-scent.com/reference/abbreviations.html\")

I will delete the other copy of the table soon. This abbreviations document, is an example of something that can be created and updated VERY easily. If anyone has a simple text document like this he/she has collected that might be valuable to forum members, send it on over by e-mail. I can html-ize it in minutes and upload it to this \"reference\" directory.

Finally on the job,
Bruce

Bruce
04-05-2002, 06:59 PM
http://www.love-scent.com/reference/index.html (\"http://www.love-scent.com/reference/index.html\")

There is now a simple index page (above) and one additional document, an edited list of links that a member posted recently.

If anyone would like to claim credit or give credit to the author of anything here, send me an e-mail and tell me the name(s) of those responsible and I will post that info. I will need to hear from the individual him/herself in order post actual names as opposed to forum screen names.

Keep this stuff coming. As long as we keep it nice and simple like this, I can throw anything up there in minutes. As long as it represents a collection of some useful info under a logical heading of some sort, I\'ll slap it up there. Then it can sink or swim on its own. If it is not deemed useful as time goes by, if the index gets cluttered, we can delete some things.

Cheers,
Bruce

If somebody can post the complete data for each product (which still not available in table), I can update the table

Just post in the forum in text format is enough, I will collect it.
Or send it to Bruce email. And Bruce know how to forward it to me.

FYI I found this webpage (\"http://www.pheromone.li/Pharmazie-Deutschland/produkt.htm\") that claims to state the contents of Contact 18 (10ml):

83.4% V/V Ethanol
12.2% V/V Androstenol
4.4% V/V Androstenone

**DONOTDELETE**

Hmmm. The units v/v (volume to volume) indicate that the phero concs are given in percentages of some pre-mixed solution (since [1] it\'s not normal (pun intended) to measure powders v/v and [2] even if it were, you\'d never get 12% steroids to disolve in EtOH). So we really don\'t know much here, do we? Anyone have an idea of what the concentration of the pre-mix might be?

Love-Mate 2000 is 50% phero by weight? Yeah right.. Chem kit reagents, in ethanol, at 1mg/ml, are .001% by weight, give or take. All of them have crystals in them, showing saturation at room temperature (they dissolve at higher temperatures, such as body temp). If this is true, Love-Mate 2000 would be a really nasty smelling slurry which you\'d be unable to do much of anything with.

oscar

Tom,

SOE has the same phero concentration as men\'s PI so you could put it in right above or below that. Put it in above. There\'s that assay on PI that came out at .0495%, so let\'s give SOE the benefit of the doubt.

Listed by block #-

(1) Scent of Eros (SOE)
(2) 10mL.
(3) 4L,1R
(4) 5mg.
(5) 0.05%
(6) 0.5mg/mL
(7) oil based *
(8) $49.95
(9) $4.99/mL.
(10)$9.99/mg.

Andro 1 Ranked with the individual reagent stuff and men\'s P10 in the 0.1% group.

(1) Andro 1 (A1)
(2) 10mL.
(3) D **
(4) 10mg.
(5) 0.1%
(6) 1.0 mg/mL
(7) Ethanol
(8) $79.95
(9) $7.99/mL
(10)$7.99/mg

* Guessing and inviting argument. Glycol maybe. JVK could help with this.

** Taking creative license.

The AE changes are all block # 11 stuff. Packaging etc.
Do people have the chart with the block 11 info? Is it worthwhile updating this stuff too?

There\'s a lot of updating needed besides the new products.
PI/w should be at the top of the chart as the products are listed by phero concentration.
P10/w should be listed above P10/m as it contains 5mg. Nol, 4mg. None, 1mg. Rone, plus 0.25mL of a Copulin blend. I haven\'t banged out the $$\'s / x or y on this yet though.
AFA should now be 0.020% None and 0.020% Nol for a concentration of .040% instead of the old .039% . Again subsequent numbers change slightly. Also packaging info.

I believe this is what drove Randy to disappear after posting that chart, the endless corrections and additions.

It was always intended as a \"work in progress ad infinitum\" kind of project, so it\'s good to see someone willing to take up the baton.

Listed in order of concentration the products starting with the most concentrated are as follows:

PI/w
P10/w
P10/m
All the individual pheros (D,L,N,R)
Chem Set
SOE
PI/m
NPA
AE
AFA
A8.4(?)
PCC
PPA/w
PPA/m
A4.2
TE
Atr.
Rlm
APC

Did I miss any? Besides scented versions, I mean.

Well found a webpage (\"http://www.feromony.cnet.pl/faq.htm\") claiming to state the contents of another pheromone product in V/V. Interestingly the first set of numbers look familiar:

Date-Mate 2000:
83.4% V/V Ethanol
12.2% V/V Androstenol
4.4% V/V Androstenone

Love-Mate 2000:
50.2% V/V Ethanol
36.6% V/V Androstenol
13.2% V/V Androstenone

Also SexySweatShop Pheromone Bottles (15ml) are supposed to have a guaranteed 5.55mg of -none, although doesn\'t say if it contains anything else.

FYI:

The makers of Pheromone 2000 (10ml) claim it contains 5mg of -none and 0.05% weight by volume.

Mr Pheromone claim their MR-1 2x (15ml) contains 0.01% of -none and their MR-1 4x (2 dram) contains 0.02% of -none.

Attractionoil/pheromoneoil are claiming their Androstenone Pheromone Concentrate contains the following:

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size=\"1\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">quote:</font><HR>
Concentrated Human Pheromones (.05% Androstenone)

Di-Propylene Glycol (Styrax Benzoin)

Essential Oils (all natural derivatives)

Fragrance (varies with each scent)
<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
I emailed them and they did confirm the .05% value. Also they say they have a certificate of analysis from an independent lab to prove it. But think they might be confusing % of content with mg/ml.

Tom,

The table and such things have been more of a \"neighborhood coalition\" effort by forum members. That\'s why I worked up the numbers you asked for earlier in the thread so that maybe you could make the updates. I lack the necessary tools to amend the chart itself, but would be happy to provide the data for input.

Gents

i don\'t know why there is a general distain of \"lovemate\" and its derivative \"Datemate\" or contact 18 or whatever. I have used \"Lovemate\", and can say that it is effective if you use enough, and it stinks like its got \"loads\" of pheros in it. When I say stinks, I mean its hard to cover, and the reaction to an OD of the stuff can be \"scintillating\" to say the least! It just isn\'t as \"crap\" as people seem to think. Pity the same can\'t be said of the supplier! The \"twots\" who distribute it in the UK are a real pain. Also it\'s cheap About($22 inc shipping) here in UK.

oscar

Tom,

Very nice indeed! images/icons/smile.gif

Just a FEW minor additions and corrections should make it perfect. images/icons/crazy.gif

(Optional) For PI/w the copulin content is not figured in any way in the numbers columns, basically because we have no idea of the amount. You COULD put a plus sign (+) in the \"Content (mg)\", \"Phero content (%)\", and \"Mg/ml\" columns as long as this doesn\'t mess with the margins or anything.

P10/w has a new formula of 4N, 5L, 1R, + .025mL of Copulin blend.(Don\'t know if you can make this fit.)
Again this would warrant the optional inclusion of \"+\" in the same columns as PI/w. Since I haven\'t heard back from Stone Labs on the concentration of the \"Copulin blend\", I can\'t be more specific with the numbers.

The A-None, A-Nol, and A-Rone \"Individual Pheromone Additives\" all have Ethanol as their carrier. This gets rid of three question marks.

NPA (and TE)-Question. Should the secret ingredients be acknowledged somehow? Maybe just \"+??\" next to the \"N\" in the \"Included\" column? Tough call!

AFA should read 3.0 in the \"Content (mg)\" column; .04 in the \"Phero content (%)\" column; and 16.65 in the \"$/mg\" column.

Finally, while I\'m not sure we need to have \"Andro 8.4\" listed at all, we sure don\'t need it listed TWICE. Why not blow away the second listing that appears under PPA/m and above A4.2. It\'s all just question marks anyway! Besides it would be out of sequence concentration-wise at that location. images/icons/wink.gif

Again, Nice Work! images/icons/laugh.gif
Thanks!

I think we need the specification/data for the SOE Gel and the price.

Tom,

The table looks great. I think you can \"Roll the Presses!\"

The reason some things like Yes and Lure (also IR\'s and SPMO\'s) aren\'t incluced is lack of data. Basically all you would be able to put on the chart would be the price, size, and maybe what phero was included. With such a lack of data I never considered it worth the time to include them.
You could start a new heading of limited info products if you like. I\'ll gladly send you the label info on Yes and Lure if want.

Again, Nice Work Sir! images/icons/smile.gif

Ladies and Gents,

I think Tom has done a stellar job in updating the product information table, and is deserving of our thanks. Check it out.

We would be remiss however if we didn\'t give credit to Randy the original architect of the table, Bruce, and the customer service reps at La Croy and Stone who contributed data.

I would especially like to extend thanks to Matt Fields at Stone Labs who provided me with numbers that represent about half the entries on the chart. Thanks Matt!
