Just got the following answer on the subject just mere minutes ago:

The fragrance we used to use for that was just a generic commercial blend, but unfortunately one that was discontinued by the manufacturer a few months back. Seeing as we had expanded our capabilities to include fragrance compounding, I thought it only appropriate to spruce up the fragrance a bit. I had never really liked the original fragrance all that much, and really thought the newer version was a vast improvement. That said, if there is
enough demand to warrant it I wouldn\'t be averse to trying to match up that old fragrance with some tinkering in the lab.

So, that is the official word from Phil at Stone Labs. It looks like if there was enough interest it could happen. Maybe stronly interested folks could e-mail me PRE-orders (no money required) just to see how many folks really want a bottle of the old stuff.
