View Full Version : TE/m gel packs v spray
Does anyone else
think that the TE/m gel packs smell different to the TE/m sandalwood spray ?
I thought that they were meant to
have the same smell. I prefer the gel pack aroma more than the sandalwood spray to be honest :)
Also, I've had
several hits & regularly different behaviour around me with the application of 1/2 TE/m gel pack (like dogs before a
thunderstorm - probably the worst analogy there is) but none so far with either the TE/m sandalwood or unscented
sprays (with a cover scent).
Terry (aka 0400-40) mentioned that approx. 3 sprays of TE equals the 'mone content
of 1/2 TE/m gp. I think that 3 sprays on me might be too much but that would be ths same as 1/2 a gel pack so I'm a
confused boy :(

I've used TE unscented quite a
bit and would say that 3 sprays would be a clear OD for me, I generally use 1. I've also used Edge Wipes, and find
that a 1/3 to 1/2 application works just great.
Never smelled the gel packs or sandalwood so can't help
there.
TE/SoE is a classic mix, and used to be my favorite. I still use it occaisionally.

TE... 0.1mg /ml x 24 ml =2.4
mg
TE
2.4mg/24mL
2,400 mcg/ 1200
drops.
= 2
mcg/dr
50dr/mL
6 dr/sp = 12 mcg/spray
=
6 mcg Anone + 6 mcg secret
pheros
3 sp = 36 mcg = 18 mcg Anone + 18 mcg secret
enhancing pheros
TE g/p small = 80 mcg total
pheromone.
TE g/p large = 130 mcg

Terry, thank God you have way
too much time on your hands. I won't check your math. :) Nice job as usual.
But this points out to me the
differences among Mone users. I'm a "dab and dash" kind of user. I know what's worked, in general, and use kind
of a zen approach to Mone use. I look at the day and decide what might be a good application for what I expect.
This mostly entails using 2 or 3 tried and true mixes which are tweaked depending on the situation.
I suppose
this points out that there are basically two "types" of Mone users: the scientific and the social. I apply and use
Mones using gut feelings based on experience. Others will use based on a formula, which cannot really exist since
pheromone use is imperfect at best. I think its true that formulas - even imperfect ones - are very useful, but not
necessarily necessary.
I recognize your efforts as being extremely valuable. New users really do need to know
the ratios of content per product which, honestly, I've never known. But its never compromised my success.
Shoot. I just go by "instinct"
nowadays. Grab and apply what just feels "right," although I do consider the situations and who I'll be with.
Stopped sweating exact amounts long ago.
Course I'm not getting much "action" either. I live in a "dead zone."
And the last "party situation" I was in, 90% of the participants were *many* years younger than I, and many not
quite legal yet... Not exactly the targets I want...

totalYes guys i also apply my phero's in a more or
less instinctive manner as we have a tendency to do so when we are more experienced with our applications,
perceptions and targeted windows of opportunity ect
.
But for the sake of new users for instance i have entered some figures
regarding pheromone content and this will help prevent serious OD's and also wastage of
product.
For instance some may obtain great results with 1/4 or 1/2 of a small TE
gel/pkt rather than use the whole pkt contents of 80 mcg pheromone.
I just like to see the new guys get some hits starting off with the attitude
that less is best type of approach....

Thanks Terry for all your hard work. I keep seeing a university blackboard in
front of me when I see your mathematical calculations & formulae. Maybe we should call you the 'professor' ?? Do
you wear a mortar board & gown ?
To summarise your thorough calculations - 3 sprays of TE/m (36mcg) is virtually
the same as 1/2 TE/m gel pack (40mcg). But why do they smell different & why would I regularly get +ve responses
from the gel pack & not (so far) the spray

:think:I won't even wear a collar and tie unless i am absolutley forced
to do so, and i would only wear a gown if i had nothing on underneath.
I would think that the TE Sandalwood spray would be of a stronger fragrance
because the gels have to satisfy a broader market spectrum as some users prefere only a faint scent.
I also have experienced better results with the gel /pks....
I would only wear a gown if i had nothing on

 *@!!#* Can you give us some warning before you do this please
??
I thought that the Edge spray would be more effective (I'm sure it is - it is probably how I use it) as the
gel packs need a gelling agent. I don't want to go back to using gel packs, that's why I'm asking.
On which
application points do people normally spray the Edge spray ?

On which application points do people normally
spray the Edge spray ?Its not at all as bad as it seems as i had a trim
last week, and i'd probably give him a shave if it came to a public veiwing/performance ect
But i do keep my Androstenone applications concentrated upon my upper body
and just about always on upper chest areas and around neck under ears ect....
