Any uptodate views on Realm

for Men edt ? Any good as a cover scent ? Popular with women ? What does it smell like ? I found a few favourable

old posts by a Google search but I could not get past the L-S forums' search image verification process despite

several attempts ...

I used to use the stuff way way

back. I can't remember what it smelled like even. Sorry.

Anyone else used Realm for Men as a

cover scent ? In old posts some thought that it smelt good & had +ve self effects. Thanks.

Basenotes is good for reviews of any commercial scent you

can imagine.

I remember that product as being

really stinky when the cologne scent wore off... In about an hour... :) It never did anything for me. I think I

used it 15 or so years ago...maybe it was 20 years ago. LOL

Men's Realm has minute traces of

EST, a mone produced by prego women. I think it's supposed to relax men and help make them feel comfortable.

Pretty much impossible to describe a scent in writing. To me Realm is on the sweet and spicy side and very old

skool. Didn't do a thing for me as is but wakes up when mixed 5 parts Realm to 1 part NPA and a dash of clove and

pine EO.

Thanks for your responses. I don't

think I'll get some. I've just got some nutmeg @ 5% dilution in grapeseed oil which smells good. :)
Has anyone

got a 'wonder attractant' smell which they recommend - home prepared perhaps ? I'm still fascinated by old posts

on deer lure - was it really effective in attracting women or was the poster having us on ?

I haven't

been brave enough to try my Ruthvah - civet, ambergris, musk.

I admire your sense of adventure

chas. :)

Deer lure is essentially urine, not something you'd want to go out smelling like. If you have civet

you'll know how rank these things can be. Ambergris, like civet, is best used in tiny amounts in a blend of EOs

for an analog mix. DST can tell you how hard these scents are to work with, mostly because of their power.

Some

musks can be used on their own if you're experienced and artful in application.

Of course any of these can be

used ad hoc if you're skilled and/or brave.

One natural scent you did not mention, which has been used by

several members here with great results is Oud, or Aloeswood. Belgareth started a very popular thread here if you

want to do a search. I've layered it with synthetic -Mones and had good results.

This help?

Yes, it does. I've

not had much success with Oud but I don't think that I have used the very high quality Ouds. I'll have another go

with the OK Oud which I have & then put a L-S 'mone on top.

I think that plant musk - Ambrette seed oil - smells

great & I'll try again with that plus a 'mone.

It might help if we had some women's views on their favourite

attractant smells. I had a hit with just Faberge's Addiction body spray - Spice Fire - which does smell good enough

to eat.

When it comes to natural scents,

I like DST's Pheros the best. You just can't experiment enough to get something as good, for both scent and

results.

One thing... don't cheap out on natural scents, its not worth it. Search the net and get the best you

can afford, it makes a huge difference.

For Oud, I've had best results applying it early and letting it dry down

a bit before adding -Mones and going out. Its so complex, and the top notes can be a bit tough for many people to

negotioate. Once it dries, the rest is heaven. Again, get the best you can manage. See the Aloeswood thread for

sources.

Ambrette has its uses in perfumery, but there's no substitute for animal musk in terms of attraction.

Get the real thing. Hang on, I'll look up a link...

http://qanaat.netfirms.com/

IMHO, its not so

much a matter of what women like, though its important, but rather using known attractants artfully. I've been

known to use natural animal musk with a commercial fragrance layerd over it along with a selected synthetic -Mone

(unscented). Its all too much fun and the results are fantastic. I don't know how many times I've had a woman

sniff me and and ask "what are you wearing, I could eat you!", or something similar, you get the drift.

It does,

though, depend on your age and the age group you're targeting. Most young girls probably won't get it, though

I've had some interesting responses. Older women eat this stuff up.

Some members have experimented

with natural mones:

1. Tie a plastic bag around your nuts, workout, collect liquid and save for dates.
2. Swipe

cotton balls under arms after workout and save for hot date (dab on pulse points)
3. Both sperm and urine contain

mones so a dab behind the ears can work wonders on a date.
4. Real cops (pussy juice) dabbed behind the ears is

great for social proofing and attracts women.
