Diluting Pheromones

hey guys,

this has probably been brought up before but I was just wondering would it be ok to dilute NPA with water? I don't

add it to colonge but rather I want to dilute it to TE levels and add a cover scent afterwards. What do you suggest

I dilute it with, not just NPA, but all other pheromones as well?

TE would probably be fine

diluted with water but the preferred thing to dilute with would be alcohol. You can generally find everclear in

liquor stores.

Each product has it's own base, you need to look at what the base is to know what to dilute it

with. That information is available for most products by following this link:

http://pherolibrary.com/reference/product-table.html. There is a link at the top right of the forum for

the reference library, a lot of good information there, even if it has not been updated recently.

Don't dilute with water! As

Belgareth said you could use Everclear, or you could go online and get some perfumers' grade alcohol. Ditto Bel's

advice on other products, but personally I would rather keep things at full strength so dosing doesn't become a

guessing game when you compare notes. NPA is the exception and, like you said, keep it to a 5:1 ratio to match TE.

unfortunately for me, I

live in the US and everclear is illegal lol. But what the best thing I found for it so far was rubbing alcohol that

is 70 percent. Is that acceptable?

stuff either. Everclear is not illegal in the US, just maybe in your state. If you really want to mix its worth

Ginger Beer, they don't call it "Moscow Mule" for nuthin'. :)
