Hope you

have a great day Bro. Take the day off... really, you deserve it at your age. :whip:

Yes, sir! I always listen to my

elders and if, in your advanced age and wisdom, you feel I should take the day off, then I certainly shall do so.

Your elders!? Maybe its early Alzheimer's, but I remember the math a little

differently!!

You might need to be more respectful

of our birthday boy as I think he may have a real chance here:

Hey! Happy Birthday!

Yeah, I

always thought idesign to be your junior pal. I guess I figured anyone who can balance a cup of tea on their knee

must be quite young.

So, how old are ya anyway? I missed the little note on the screen yesterday.

Thanks all!

I'm 52, Bruce. But my wife says I'm going on 12 and need to grow up some. I

can't imagine why...even if I do start food fights at the dinner table.

Perhaps I should have phrased it

differently. Within 6 months I'll have been lynched if I were ever elected president, if I even managed to live

long enough to be sworn in. The best part would be watching all the recounts because nobody would believe it,

especially me.

Correct in every way Bruce!!

You'll see next month though that I'm not

very far behind Bel.

You hit

a hundred? I knew you were getting up there but didn't realize you were that far along.

Sorry I missed seeing

your birthday. A belated happy birthday.

Happy Birthday Bel!

Thanks

for all your great work and devotion to the site for all these years. Do you ever sit up and think, "Why the hell am

I doing such weird, random stuff with my time?" I know I do.

I just hope all this hard mileage will bring some

maturity to you finally!

Try to do something fun for yourself besides just sitting around farting...

Thanks Doc.

Believe it or

not, I understand completely why I do this but nobody else seems to get it so I quit explaining a long time ago. My

reasons work for me and that's all that really matters.

Maturity? Hell no! I'm right in the middle of my

fourth childhood and intend to enjoy it fully. Growing up would take a lot of the joy out of my life.

My oldest

daughter and my youngest granddaughter both have birthdays very close to mine. This Sunday we will be celebrating

the baby's first birthday and my oldest's 26th along with my own. It will be a lot of fun with all the kids,

grandkids and even a few kind of nominally adopted kids to play and laugh with. And I'll even sincerely try to

refrain from farting, especially when I sneeze.

Geez... see what I

missed?

If i could go back in time to offer you a proper birthday wish, bel, you know I would. But for now,

would you take a nice pre-owned (but near-mint) birthday wish?

I hope your big day was a rousing display of

rebellion against oldfartdom. We old guys need to fight the power.

belgareth

Hell! I'm pre-owned (several

times) and not nearly in mint condition. Hard for me to say no to an offer like that.

Actually, I drove my wife

up a tree playing with the grandkids. I was the noisiest of the lot. We had quite a good time. Oldfartism, indeed!

Bah! I'll have to grow up first. Never happen.
