I've read that nol
(soe) converts to none. Wouldn't that mean combos like soe&a7 or soe&npa are OD's wiating to happen?

have on you. Only experience can teach you how much impact this factor has.

It's also an over time thing,
so by the time the Nol has converted to None, alot of the original None has worn off. One of the practical lessons
is in reapplying. If you reapply after 4 or so hours, go light on the None, and heave on the Nol. I made the
mistake of a straight reapply and what an OD experience that was. Funny though, it's my only DIHL experience, but
everyone else was down right hostile.

What actually causes the
conversion?

So if applied to clothing, the conversion would be nil or very
minimal?

That's true. A number of
people in the past have only done clothing applications. But keep in mind that mones can linger for a long time in
fabric, even after several washings.
