I just finished reading a
book called The Omnivore's
Dilemma (http://www.michaelpollan.com/omnivore.php), and if you eat American produced food, it's scary. As an aside, while I was reading it
there was a story on CBS Evening news about Red Dye #2. An example they gave was the McDonald's Strawberry Parfait.
In the US, the red color comes from Red Dye #2, in the UK the red colour comes
from....strawberrys.http://www.pheromonetalk.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
Now I know why I buy
butter imported from Ireland.
