Hey

guys,

Has anybody noticed how quickly a full bottle of Alter Ego gets used up? I'm wondering if the gel packs

are actually a better bargain than the full bottle itself. I noticed I can get about 80 applications of the gel

packs for almost the same price as a full bottle. I'm not quite sure I can get 80 applications out of a full

bottle. Please help!

I really like this stuff, but the bottle doesn't last long at all. Also, does anyone know

what is actually different about the gell packs? Is the AE formula actually made differently, or is it the same

stuff just mixed with a gell substance just to put it in a pack?

Thx. to all.

Any suggestions?

The bottled version is

stronger..
But it depends of how much you use of a gelpack per application.. And how much you would use with the

bottled version..

Any

suggestions?:think:Interesting one Spivedog, the gels have 80 mcg

pheromone of the triple formula in 1ml of gel, giving you

aNONE 35.52 mcg,+
aNOL 26.66 mcg,

+
aRONE 17.77 mcg.35.52mcg seems to be a good hit of aNONE.

The bottle contains 3375 mcg Pheromone which

would be equal to about 42 G/Pks.

It works out that nearly 5 drops of the bottled AE will give you the same pheromones content

as that of one G/Pkt.

Definately worth questioning,

and pursuing.

How much do you

apply. I've had my bottle for almost three years. I used it almost everyday for the first year- it was my first

mone product.

I have read on the forum that 2 or 3 Drops of AE is like a good working

amount.

I

wonder if this amount is the favourite average ?

Also i have had good hits using about 1/3 or 1/2 gel/pkt especially in hot

weather.

So

there may be a chance that an extra splash of After Shave for example may be a help in the dispersion of the product

into the air

I only mention this as the dispersion of my SOE and NPA mix has improvrd results after i have had

a good splash of Brut A/Shave patted in to the mix.

Maybe the extra alcohol helps the mones to be released at a quicker

rate?
Terry, why are you using brut?????? It's 2007!

I you're low on cash try the oils sold

here , I'm a big fan of them and they are a great deal for the price! I've got a few on hand and find just two

dabs will last a while on my skin. Ok they may not be the real thing but no one has ever complained to me yet , in

fact I've had a few complements from ladies on my scent.

I remember buying my Dad brut 25

years ago along with "soap on a rope" on Fathers day...
Last year when I told my kids I wanted a house, car & socks

for christmass they gave me: a matchbox car , socks with dad written on them & a voucher for "1 house"!

Usually I apply 3 drops or so when I use the bottle with one "drop" equalling a

single drop of mones out of the atomizer. I usually use one half of a gel pack. They seem to work about the same.

I definately get noticed.

cashed up again Gaf.

HA ha wellll The Bold and the Brut, my G/F

insisted on buying it for me because she "likes it"

And when i was applying my SOE + Alpha7 one day i just splashed it on before and after the

application and that day i had remarkable results where ever i was.

Even 3 hours later in Chinatown i was hitting it off real well with the Asian girls.

So i thought whilst on a good thing stick to

it.

I also have Vetiver Hombre which i like better than Brut,

so i may try that as soon as my supply of SOE arrives, tomorrow i hope.

Even so when it comes to fragrances i have tried some very expensive ones and 10 minutes later i

sniff my wrist and like theres nothing there.

So i ask any

passing chick or counter staff if they can smell anythig and they say nope.

Sometimes i think people must just pay for a brand name with a fancy

bottle.

I have Some Lamis Creation copys and some of them are

far better than the real thing like Velviamo, Catsuit if u like JPG.

Lomani is not bad for a cheapy or Blue Stratos.

I have tested Georgio in one of the mens fragrance and 10 minutes later theres no smell for me to

notice or anyone else, teh same goes for Polo Black after 10 minutes or less and there its goneso again after the

bad tests i ask shop girls and they cant smell anthing either.

So i am now very cautious about buying high class brand names, and why should i if the cheaper

ones hold the fragrance for a lot longer than a lot of the more expensive ones.

I even use Maroussia, which is a cheap womans fragrance, but after 1/2 hour it smells good on me

and it can still easily be detected after 8 hours.

Even so i

really do need to gain some knowledge in the fragrance department.

Terry,
If the misses brought you

the brut then keep wearing it , woman tend to associate a "smell" with you and that can only be a positive thing.

I've had many ladies complement me on my scent (usually ck eternity or chanel egoiste) and even now many years

later comment on how they love it on me. I could never wear the chanel around one woman as she would always accuse

me of cheating on her , she said it made me smell of sex. (she didn't know that I used it as my cover for wagg-n)

even if I didn't have any mones on she associated it with "gaf's on a poon hunt".

comes to fragrances.

What you have said is so very interesting and real food for thought.

It seems that there is just as much an

art in fragrances as there is in the pheromones.

I hope i am not to old by the time i learn the basics. hah

ha.

What i

would really like is a genuine nice and enduring fragrance that most women could appreciate and definately notice,

something that can go the distance.

Any ideas ??

a good pointer is always to

ask lady's around.. To me it really seems that younger chicks wants the more sweet smell's and when they get a

little older they tend to go towards more masculine smells..
But a good branded eu de toilette is always good.. I

use Black Code and many girls like it..
I wanna purchase Boss- in motion (the orange) as to me it has a more

masculine smell I really love..
But I've heard many women saying hugo's (Hugo Boss) products are great on

them..

And always Le Male is a good one if you can afford it.. Can remember one of my girlfriends told me about

one of her girlfriends..
She had a guy come over to help her with some things she needed to have done to her

kitchen..
She was going all crazy over his smell and was really on the edge of just jumping him right there in the

kitchen.. And later my girlfriend and her went out and found out it was Le Male that did it..

You might be on to something workingmann

on the scents thing. Younger chicks can dig the scent of a SOE alot faster than say Chikara.

Terry,
Just like pheromones I tend

to belive that less is more when it comes to using a cologne. There is nothing worse then smelling a dude that

stinks of after shave , you want a woman to get close then say "hey thats nice, what is it?" rather then go "holy

crap another used car sales man"
A good trick is to go to a dept store and have a stiff around to work out what you

like (they should offer coffee beans to clear your nasel passages between scents) when you find one you like , use

only one spray and leave. Let it sit on you for a few hours so it "settles".
If it still smells good after 3-4

hours , you've got a winner!
Remember just as some 'mones don't suit everyone , some scents don't suit

everyone. After all if it's going to cost you $100 you might as well take your time and find one that sits well

with you.
As always, just my take on it.

gaf got a point.. plus

remember.. When picking your scent, and product then remember that after a few hours it will change a little..
Fx.

I love the scent from AE, and I love it when freshly applied but after an hour or more it changes and I always gets

so sad because even thought it's still fairly good it isn't as good as when first applied

I was considering Boss In Motion, but I ended up getting Terre D'Hermes. Haven't yet been

able to sample BIM, but it seems like Terre is a more refined version of BIM. The only thing you don't get is that

neat little globe bottle.
