Olfactory neurons expressing transient receptor potential channel M5 (TRPM5) are involved in sensing

semiochemicals. Weihong Lin, Robert Margolskee, Gerald Donnert, Stefan W. Hell, and Diego Restrepo PNAS. 2007;

Olfactory

sensory neurons that project to the main olfactory bulb are involved in processing pheromones.

hey there jvkohl! i've got

something i'd like to kick around with you, re: female hormonal cycles and response to specific pheromones at

different times in that cycle - but i can't seem to send you a pm....

Generally, -none is better

around ovulation, and A1 is especially good for PMS and times when soothing a woman's mood might be prudent.

These conclusions are supported by research.

My sense is that -rone is safe anytime, and generally helps support

female mood, but I am basing this particular statement on anecdotal reports from women in the forum, not published

research.

hmm..that's interesting Dr

SmellThis - altho it's tough for me to say, since on of the products that i use has lots of rone in it - but i'm

not fully sure what the full mix is. either way - it's tweaking me a little bit during luteal phase, and that's

what surprised me.

can we say this is a big leap

in phero research? :)

Now the effectiveness of various pheros can start to be tested based on MOS instea of VNO

reactions?
