I miss
the LS forum IM system. Why was it disabled?

The IM system wasn't deleted. When
we got our new website a couple years back, we moved to a new server and installed a completely clean copy of the
forum software. The IM system isn't a regular part of vBulletin, it is what is known as a "contribution" or
"hack." We could probably have it put in again, but I imagine we would have the same problem with it that the PM
system was causing, providing an avenue for commercial spammers and their agents.

I like Vbulletin. I am used to it.
There is a free board that is supposed to be nearly as good, but the admin side is completely different. There is a
way more stuff in there than you can imagine.

If you mean what language the
application is written in, it is displayed in the URL of all the various pages you open up: PHP
