View Full Version : "New" cookbook
WorkingMann

I'm
thinking about making a "new" cookbook with new design, new mixes but plus most of the old stuff from the old
cookbook.. The idea is to in the end make it to an eBook (opened by Acobat Reader) and then there's some more
info..
But I was wondering if someone would be willing to help me when I'm done?
Not only evaluating,
commenting, coming with good advices and suggestions, but most of all to help me write it in the right way.. I'm
fairly good at English (I would say myself - at least people understand me, but my grammar isn't all that
good..)
So would one be willing to look through my work and see for ","- is placed right and if I've made the
sentence in the right order (not putting the words in incorrect order) or checking my spelling?
I just wanna make
it understandable and readable..
From time to time i will probably put in bit's and pieces to be evaluated or to
get an oppinion on something/suggestions..

I'd like to help with
checking your english, but as I'm not a native english speaker I guess that won't be of much help. But
nonetheless, I might correct a word in 3.2: I'm quite sure you meant advantages and not advances.
Will there
be descriptions of more mones than our well known -none, -rone and -nol? Because I'm starting to loose track with
all this new stuff...

Correct i meant that.. See that's the kind of help I also need.. checking
typos..
And so far I will only be using the descriptions from the "current (old) cookbook" but if you can make or
find descriptions of others we can make treads about other mones to get a good description to tell about them..

Since I believe I
have a fairly good spoken and written English I don't wanna check each word and composition of each sentence to be
right.. I just wanted yo hear if somebody wanted to help on the work..
All that works with it will be credited in
the credited section also..
Readeye will you also look at this thead for me since youre a

Well it looks great so far. The
only thing I can think is that the recipes are broken down by what mood they induce kind of thing, but only for
men.
It would be great to maybe put the womens recipes in the women's section and also have them broken down by
what they induce.
For example:
Good to bond with other women
Good in the workplace
Makes you feel more
relaxed
Seduces
Good for encouraging intimacy in long term relationship
etc etc

Okay I will make another
section for something like the womens cookbook..
Then it can be divided into categories..
Have you seen

I have, but I haven't been using
mones for long enough to be able to add to any existing recipes to be fair.
I cannot even guarantee that the
effects that I have seen are as a result of the mones until I have been using them a while longer.
Thanks for
highlighting it.

Okay but since you're the
one of the more active women in here it would be great if you could help with some input and opinions etc. even
though you haven't got much experience it's better to have a little from a woman than a little or nothing from a
man.. I can just say it's not from a experienced female user but it's the best we got at the time..
It will still
be the best we can do so far I think..

Ok I had a chance to review
the first link. My thoughts
- seems like your taking this to a level above and beyond just a cookbook. It's more
like pheromone from A-Z if that makes sense. Sounds great to me but it will be a lot of work. That being said I
think 1.3 recipe explanation should be removed from intro and kept solely to recipe section. Also possibly add a
brief history of mones to this section.
Other typo's I found:
2.5 add front set of "
chapter 3 coverscents
(title) should be 2 words
4.1 change odour to odor: jus should be just
Workingman please let me know if this is
the kind of assistance that you are looking for. Keep up the great work!
Everyone: Feel free to correct me at
anytime as I am not perfect, but will try to help out. Also feel free to disagree with any ideas that I may have.
I will not be offended in either case.

Pheromones from A-Z.. Well not quite
but I will just make it like the most usefull stuff also for newbies.. I can post what I've writtem so far to
better get an understanding perhaps.. Because it's for many kind of users as you will see when I post..
Year I
think you're right about the recipe explanation stuff should be under recipe..
And yes it was that kind of help I
was looking for.. I know about the cover scent in 2 words but just didn't bother to correct as there were more
interesting stuff to write about..
But also if you have good ideas for other things to remember to write about.. Or
suggestions about what to put in the sections, or something else..

Introduction
to the cookbook
This “cookbook” is intended for everyone using Love-Scents Pheromone
-Store,
-Forum, or -Pherolibrary. This is both a guide to you who’s new to pheromones, the
semi experienced that’s ready to begin mixing, and the professionals that need a reference and (opslagsværk) when
mixing.
The text in () is words for me I have to look up and see what the word for is..

I've been thinking
about..
When we take recipies from here would it be good to back them up with an successtory?
Like fx. Doc's
recipie: http://www.pherolibrary.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17225
and in the end make a link/reference
to the successtory (placed as an appendix or link?) or should it just be a link to the forum directly to the
successtory/thread?
Or should it just be keept out?
Any comments on this?
And if we do this how is the
copyright rules? When posting here does Bruce have the copyright? because if he has it, we can talk to him about it
and if not we will have to talk to each of them to get permission to use the info in their post..

I've asked Bruce if I could make this cookbook and the ideas about it.. so far I was
suppose to use the info from Pheromone Reference Library and that was okay with him..
I didn't wanna ask him about
this new idea if people had a good oppionion about it were stupid..
So this is only to her peoples opinion about
this new idea and feature I might wanna add.. If people think it would benefit the "new cookbook" then I'll talk to
Bruce about it.. If it's just me having a bad idea it would be a waste to talk to Bruce first..
Bu don't worry..
I've talked to Bruce about the cookbook thing but this is just a new idea..
because Bruce must have the
responsebility over the Pheromone Reference Library and therefor I have asked him but this new idea is not about
what I already have asked him, so jsut wanted to hear peoples opinion first..

Pheromone identification
In this section I will tell
how you can make identification of the pheromones in these products.
A way to see that there
are pheromones in a product is to sniff the bottle, and then you can feel a buzz through your head. You feel
different when doing this.
If this doesn’t happen try to but a little on your wrist and then
sniff, and remember that it’s only a little buzz.
Anything other so
you can see or feel that pheromones work?
Anything I've forgotten, should rewrite, add/delete in this
section?
Marlboro_man
02-05-2007, 05:44 PM
I have to say that I don't
feel that buzz with all mones so I'm not sure that is a good predicter. Also with some, like NPA for example, I
get an effect but it has to be on me for a while and 1 quick sniff does nothing. In conclusion I feel that
sniffing, on your skin after the product has dried rather than from the bottle, works in some cases but not all
cases and saying so may be misleading to newbies.
I think it's important to add that besides sniffing, pay
attention to your own mood swings with time, and some seem to have effects on the people around you and not on your
self.

My opinion would be something like
this.
Here is a list of possible effects that can be used to determine if they work for you.
1)Bottle sniff
test
2)Arm sniff test
3) Self mood changes
4) Friends react differently with and without them
5) Reactions from
opposite sex including things like DIHL and nervous movement.
Of course my list has skipped all the details but
I'm sure you get the ideal.

My opinion on this is that it's really a waste of time. If people really want to find it they can
search for it.
I also feel recipe's should not be included because 1 person had sucess with it. I really believe
we should have at least 2 different people who had sucess before including it.

Actually the Pherolibrary is my
responsibility (or at least it was last time I was here).
Not to tread on anyone's toes here but I have already
done work on re-working the cookbook as well as creating a "Usage Guide" and a "Starters Guide". The problem has
been getting time to update the actual website - it needs work as its a little messy at the moment.
How much have
you already done?
