In a recent Karate
promotion test, I smeared a little film of PCC on my upper lip under my nose before the test. What I've discovered
is that I seem to be gutty and more aggressive in my sparring matches than when I haven't worn anything. I also
think I tend to be more composed and confident even against a larger and stronger opponent. I stand my ground more
as opposed to backing away.
I've also tried putting a little dab of NPA under my nose before Karate and have
noticed similar effects (i.e. more couragious, confident, focused and aggressive). My sensei commented one time
that I was holding back and too tentative in my sparring, but after using NPA or PCC under my nose I've gotten
compliments not only from him but from my opponets and others as well.
I don't know which one is better, but
dabing a little NPA or PCC under my nose definately has a positive effect in my workouts. And the amazing thing is
that it doesn't take much!
I think we should all look more into pheromones as workout enhancers. They won't
improve your skill any than it already is but they'll help get you into the right mindset and the mental game is
75% of the battle.
