I used that joke the other day,

in front of a trendy restaurant on Haight Street. I was walking out the door and passed a covey of slightly drunk

young women. I turned to my friend and said loudly we were going to Amoeba Records, just down the street then asked

her, how do amoeba communicate?

That got the other women's attention so then hit'em with the punch line.

Got a big laugh from the crowd. The alpha chick threw back some smart line about middle school teacher but I moved

on....
