I have to write an essay about pheromones and have to design an experiment about the following phenomenon:

When a female mouse mates, but is later confronted with a male of another strain, the latter exposure prevents pregnancy.

Can somebody help me a little bit with information?

What you are looking for is info on MHC diversity in rodents--the cause of pregnancy block. However, it\'s definitely a complex neuroendocrine process.
