Issey Miake mix NPA

Hey guys,

Heard

of a few of you mixing this combo up.

Just wondering, how do you get the issey out of the bottle? I just got

a bottle of it and I tried to take the spray head off to get some of the cologne liquid out , but it seems

impossible.

Can someone help me out here? How do u open up the bottle?

It's best not to remove the

spray head. Not only is it difficult but you are likely to break it. CK colognes are among the few that come with

screw-off tops.

The standard method of filling an atomizer is to use a perfume funnel:

1. Place funnel

in atomizer bottle.
2. Hold cologne head as near as possible.
3. Spray directly into the funnel and fill to

the desired mark.
4. Add NPA
5. Screw atomizer bottle onto spray head and commence merry making.

I use

a Sharpie pen to mark graduations on the bottle. This technique aids greatly in filling to correct proportion (4:1,

5:1 or whatever your desired diluation).

Perfume funnels are normally sold with atomizers in Honolulu malls

(Sephora shops). I don't know about other places. However, any small funnel will work, e.g., travel flask or chem

lab funnels.

How do u open up the

bottle?

I haven't done this myself, but what I saw here is that you don't. People spray into a funnel

that leads to an atomizer that they buy. Then they drop in the NPA or whatever else.

This way is actually

better because you aren't affecting your source perfume/cologne, so you can play around with the amounts of things.

Obviously, once you've put stuff in, you can't take it out again.

Sheesh..now i've gotta get me a funnel. Damn , my mini atomiser's pretty small. Hope the funnel

fits.

What kinda shops can i find slightly bigger , say 10 ml, atomizers from? I haven't seen any in perfume

The Sephora comes with a

funnel.

LS has the

larger atomizer but it lacks a funnel. I actually prefer the smaller Sephora model. The big LS atomizer, when in

pocket, makes you appear a little too happy to see your date!
