Everybody,
We do
not normally make announcements of this sort but this is a special case. The person who has been posting as
FullTiltRedhead was a fake. I sent an email to the real lady and she confirmed it. As a result, the phony has been
banned.

Fakes!!! here????

Hard to believe, isn't it?

FTRH was before my time, but I
assume the poser didn't nail her posting style? And why in the world would someone go to the trouble to do such a
thing?
belgareth
06-27-2006, 04:03 PM
No idea why but I've talked to
her myself about it. It isn't her. And no, the style was way off. FTR is a superb typist and would never allow the
flaws in typing or grammer in one of her posts that were in the other posts. The tone is different too but that's
harder to define.

There was one that was exactly right.
Except as someone pointed out, it was a copy & paste. I knew it sounded familiar.

Before anybody gets the wrong
idea, thanks to Oscar and CptKipling for noticing the fraud. They were the ones that got the whole thing moving.

I knew almost immediately
it wasn't the real deal. Some of you may have noticed my post wherein I questioned her: "FTR, have you had a mild
stroke or something?" My question was actually more real than cynical as I could not fathom anyone stealing that
identity and add to that the real downgrade in writing skill; I thought: "what's happened to her?"

I used to correspond with
her outside of LS, we talked only about swinging, a mutual interest. She worked for a Washington DC legal firm, I
believe she's a paralegal although I may be wrong, not a lawyer though for sure.

That is so Sad,
I feel sorry for the person imitating fulltiltred, why would he/she want to do that? Attention seeking?
Bel, you
gave me a little lecture with regards to her posts, maybe I wasnt that wrong in hindsight..
I went back to
archives and read some posts on the real tiltredhead, I agree, she is an amazing writer, she must be a proffessional
writer or a journalist or something...very creative and her grammer was impecable.
After looking back at
the conversation, I'll stand by what I said before.

It really wasn't that hard to
figure out. I'm glad that the light of truth has been shown. Let this be a lesson to those who want to lecture
about TRUST.
This is a good learning place, to learn about the science of Pheromones. And though it
certainly has its imperfections, I am thankful to the moderators for their efforts in keeping this a place to do
just that.

The copy-and-paste had me for a
second, 'cos I'd forgotten about the original.
The rest was almost comical to watch unfold. It was like
Cedric The Entertainer trying to pull off Woody Allen. The author was obviously (hopefully) going for tee-hee over
authenticity.
Haven't communicated with the genuine article since late '04, I think. Hope she's doin'
well.

Believing is one thing, proving
it is another. In fairness, we had to prove it before we could take action. I appreciate everybody that helped out
on that..
I'm too lazy to look it up but what
NEW product was she pushing..if any?

I think he/she merely enjoyed the
thrill of the deception. If I needed a thrill I'd go ahead and live more dangerously. Online it's pretty cowardly.
However, I suspect the buzz is kinda like fooling around when you're married: the rush of sneaking around and the
ego stroke of feeling stealthy and powerful.

The id comes out on the internet.
People say and do things they'd be afraid to in real life (except in Guantanamo or South Central.)
Whoever
it was was either really pissed or simply had way too much "creative energy" to burn.

Hey, Mtnjim and Koolking!
how are you?
Koolking and I did indeed have many conversations about swinging. I've calmed down a bit in the
past couple of years, but it was fun to experiment.

Hey Gorgeous!!! Good to
see ya!!! Can I spank you? Or, will you spank me please? Laughing here. Just how are you?
The Real FTR

A spanking exchange sounds
like a great idea! Nothing like a good spanking to perk you up.
I'm doing great, thanks for asking! I hope
you have been, too.

we always got
doubts when some member left us then come back with other nick..but some trace of writing is like your phero
signature 'Sue Generis' (came form Latin means unique or something...
I remember jambat few years ago... God..
lot of funny..
then we got his "writing trace" or "thinking trace" check out below..
"I am the
following Watcher Donaldduck (unregistered) Paul Australia
And Jambat 2 but that was just Watcher renamed and now
back to Watcher. Thats it im not jambat he is someone else. Nor am i Paul canada he is someone else."
Thanx for
letting us know Paul. We wondered where you had been. Welcome back ;-)

being hunted by a clan of fundamentalist atheist ninja assassins. In the meantime I had been studying quantum

Ah, yes, the days of
Jambat. And weren't there, like, imitation Jambats? Jambox, Jambot, Jambo, who knows what all. Seems like there
was a run on Jam-something for a few months. It was enough to confuse anybody!

I saw some of the ersatz FTR
postings and had not thought the poster was the real deal.
Some behaviors and worldviews are impossible to
fake.
The crux was, did I want to correspond? No.

to see your charm remains undiminished.
Whitehall

The question is not really my
charm, which is anything if not improved, but rather your susceptibility to it.
Besides, I thought you, the
original, had been banned.
Welcome back.
The Real FTR

Susceptible as
charged.
Oh, I banned and then some! Imagine my surprise to hear someone signed up with my old username, bold as
brass, and was approved to post here! I thought for sure the board would have burst into flames if I'd done such a
thing. Belgareth and Bruce got in touch with me to see if it was really me, and we got to talking, and all's
forgiven. Heartwarming, isn't it?
I've sworn to be good.

:welcome: back FTR! This time
fer real. ;)
Haven't been in too often. Last time was to welcome you . . . I mean the person that I
thought was you, back. Just checked back in a day or two ago to find out, to my chigrin, that it really wasn't
you. And now I'm here to welcome you back . . . again. (Guess I should stop before I really tie up my
brain into knots.)

No problem! It's good ta see you typing here again :D . Quite a few old

She copied some of my old
posts (which I thought had all been deleted) and wrote some of her own.
"Frankie even posted ... or was it the
real one?" The real Frankie? Was there a fake Frankie?
belgareth

There have been a number of
fakes, the biggest problem is figuring out who the fakes are.

I wonder if anyone would ever
impersonate me? I doubt it on this forum.
In other forums ( non pheromone related and alot less subject
constrained ) they have impersonated me many times, I found it really funny, frued had a term for this complex, I
cant remember the word, but its called "projection" or something, when someone else fills some elses ego.
Holmes

I'd never want to be impersonated (who'd bother anyway?). Just fill up my ego and I'm good
for a week.

Welcome back FTR!
Thank
goodness, it seems you haven't actually lost your mind (at least not yet/not totally). The world is normal again

Good to see your blazing through the forums just like in days past; 28 posts in what? Two
days? Nice!
