Well i'm
planing to get some SOE. but i can't decide on which kind, scented or unscented? How is the scented one?
If i
get unscented i could get some fierce and use that as a cover smell.
But if the scented smell is as good as
Chikara, i think i'll give it a try.
I've never tryed SOE before so idk which to choose

I prefer the unscented as you can
choose a variety of covers, e.g., a quality cologne. Nevertheless, scented SOE is a pleasant sweet woody smell,
evocative of sandalwood oil. It will blend well with colognes containing sandalwood, clove and other woody Asian
spice and tree oils. It's too weak to work as a cover for 'none heavy products such as NPA or TE.
It smells
much better than Chikara to my nose, but then I find Chikara too sweet and girly-boy for my taste. Reminds me of a
cheapo body wash.

Correct me if im wrong, and your
opinions matter, at least to me.
But do you feel "scent" of scent of eros resembles the scent of semen but just
more refined and sweeter?
Hope there are not some secret ingredients in the concontion that the makers have not
told us about! it would be a real pity to waste so many millions of potential lives in the manufacture of a
perfume/pheronone!

LOL That's a good one.
Perhaps you enjoy a different diet than me but they smell as different as grass and smoked salmon. Semen smells
earthy and extremely bitter. But I've never sniffed any semen other than my own so I'm not an expert.

You didn't happen to somehow
get a "customized" bottle from Fran1 (http://www.pherolibrary.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9925) I hope.
:D
I've read things on the Net claiming that pheromone products were made from corpses but not from seminal
fluids. Anyway, I think JVK has more integrity than to do what you're suggesting. Besides, how would you get the
volume necessary for large scale production? Milking machines?
As for the smell, I'm just the
opposite of Gegogi. I like the smell of Chikara but find the musk in the scented SOE too strong. I prefer the
unscented SOE instead. I also noticed that when I first got both versions of SOE, my boss would get the sniffles
around me when I wore the scented one to work but had no nasal problems with the unscented SOE.
Bottom line,
it's a matter of personal preference, just like regular cologne.

I like the scent of unscented SoE.
Scented one is too strong.

Blast from the past.
I think you can get both a scented
and unscented gel pack in the sample packs. But you may have to ask for the "woman's" set for one of them.
I an
see arguments for both versions. The scent of the scented version is nice, but then again you may not like it. The
"unscented" version will give you more flexibility as to a cover scent of your choice and avoid "conflict" with
other scented products.
For those of us who prefer simple "grab and go" solutions the scented versions make
sense.

I was just about to order some scented-SOE gel packs. I was planning to wear it over a dab
or two of npa. Sounds like that might be a bad idea, right ?

I'm not sure, but if you found
the scent didn't cover the NPA you could also spray some cologne over it.

The SOE gels are far
too weak to cover NPA, especially after dry-down. so does npa always have to be covered with a regular
cologne ?
I like the scented-SOE but I'm confused about how I can wear it with npa.. (?) If I need to use
another cologne won't that mask the soe-scent too ?

You'll probably want a little
something "extra" to cover.

I'd think that very few
colognes don't clash horribly with scented SOE. It's pretty assertive. Which is why I started using the
unscented.

Yes, don't wear it alone.

Either you try
it with the NPA (a couple of dabs might not cause much of a problem) or you find a cover scent that blends well (I
personally haven't found that cover scent, but I think others have mentioned Aqua Di Gio and L'eau D'Issey in the
past - try a cologne-related search).
I know you said you like it, but are you hell-bent on the scented SOE?
Unscented would be much easier (IMO).

the unscented now (usually with npa & L'eau D'Issey). I just liked the SOE scent sample, but I don't think I'll
order it if I can't wear it with npa.

you can wear the scented
soe with npa but you will most likely need to use a cologne as cover on top of it. IMO the soe scent fades rather
quickly.
you could always get the scented soe and add cologne as cover when you wear npa.

Well
I got my order today and the freebie pack that came with it had the SOE gel pack busted. No big deal as it was onl
$.01, but the pack smelled way stronger (and to me better) than the liquid version. The scent is pretty much the
same but the gel pack is way stronger- the scent is still filling up my room.
My preference is to buy the
unscented- which by the way I ordered and it is bigger than the one I bought previously (also doesn't have a black
cap- looks like the scented version). The unscented allows you to wear any cologne.
