I guess Castoreum should be great

for attracting female beavers...

Musk, civet, castoreum, etc have

been used by humans for centuries for the same reasons we use pheromones.

If your looking for a US

supplier, here is

one...

I can't say the

explainations look very appealing though....

I was jokingly referring to the

human kind, although I'm partial to the Brazilian wax.

phersurf,

A few years back, Profumo also sold Deer Musk, and I believe that it was even part of the kit at the

time.
Having seen this post (http://www.pherolibrary.com/forum/showthread.php?p=73156#post73156) by

nonscents (http://www.pherolibrary.com/forum/member.php?u=120) in the epic "Deer Musk Thread" I was all

gung-ho about getting the kit, but regrettably never did.

A couple of years later,

Salaam (http://www.pherolibrary.com/forum/member.php?u=2853), a member of our forum who is the Perfume

Composer for Profumo, posted what is now

the last post (http://www.pherolibrary.com/forum/showthread.php?p=163585#post163585) in that thread, which

sadly indicates that musk was no longer on their product list.

BTW, anyone who's contemplating using "hunting

lure grade" deer musk would probably do well to read that thread.

Oscar :)

ok, maybe in tiny, judicious quantities... rumored that Caron's men's fragrance Yatagan (means a

curved turkish sword or similar item) was a gay cult cologne during the '70s and 80's with a base of sage and

castoreum.... holy cripes it was funky like man ass after an afternoon of greco-roman wrestling... un-subtle as all

get out...

Now that's a little too vivid for me!

Yuck!

I found the site awhile back, it all

sounds intreresting.
I noticed that he as a male and female pheromone product that sounds very

tempting.

c'mon... the nose IS a sensory system, right... it feeds directly to the lower brain

centers unlike vision or hearing...

I spent months tweaking and crafting a blend of Pharmacia Santa Maria

Novella and Lorenzo Villoresi (woods, herbs, spices) and a li'l of this n' that until i hit my specific sweet

spot.... even wearing that juice I notice people noticing it, not looking at me, pretending not to be thinking about

it, however they seem engaged, trying to place it, why isn't it like any other product they know, why doesn't it

smell synthetic and overly assertive like the cologne counter crap on the market... can a fragrance actually be that

complex, that engaging, fully masculine, not trailing clouds of stanky sillage, simply asserting a classy as all

hell presence, and one you can't find anywhere ? My answer to Pheros.... it makes people want to hang out, know

more, but guys aren't threatened like I'm planning to come on to them... get real, when you're wearing a

fragrance, people will rationally assume that you're sending out a deliberate social message, no different when a

woman puts on a ton of perfume... it's a way of saying something.... in the 1980's, Aramis was a flashing

billboard that screamed GAY AND AVAILABLE ! Yatagan snarled GAY AND AVAILABLE FOR ANYTHING! Girls were sprayed down

with Poison which pleaded MY BIOLOGICAL CLOCK IS TICKING ! or Opium... SO YOU HAVE A GOLD CARD ! when the class acts

stayed with Chanel #5 I AM SO ABOVE THIS TACKY SHIT!.... beaver ass gland drippins ? Civit squeezins ? Hmmmmm...

gotta think about that one....
