I recently purchased a
little blue bottle called Pure Instinct. The smell is melon-like and I believe it is oil based but Im not sure what
kinds of pheomones it contains. Does anyone have any info or experience regarding this product?

Hi AnniO,
I like Pure
Instinct, it was my first pheromone find. I like the scent and use it still to mix with stronger products
purchased here. As for the content I do not know, the information isn't on the bottle or any where online I have
looked. There are a few posts here about it if you try a search. The posts I found suggested it may have
androstenone. I do feel a calming or uplifting feeling from it, whether that be from pheromone content or essential
oils I have no idea.
In my opinion it does have a very small pheromone content, and a pleasant scent. I like to
mix a few drops of Primal Instinct and NPA with it. This combination seems to be THE mix for me. After a bit of
experimenting with other combinations and perfumes I stick with the Pure Instinct as a scent cover for better
pheromone products.
If its working for you, enjoy! If not there are products here and plenty of information
if you're interested.
Happy Holidays,
Dimitra

AnnieO,
I have a bottle of Pure
Instinct that's probably a couple of years old. From what you and inkling wrote I'm assuming that the labeling has
changed in the interim because mine is pretty informative.
Front label:
_____________________
"PURE
INSTINCT
(Unisex symbol)
SEX ATTRACTANT"
_____________________
Back
label:
_______________________________
"Pure Instinct is a sexually attracting
fragrance, that will awaken all
her
senses.
~Elevate her mood
~Increase her sexual desire
~Enhance sexual attraction
~Attract her easily
Contains: Androstenone, Essential
fragrant oil, Jojoba oil.
Apply to: wrist, neck and upper body.
No
Animal Testing..."
______________________________
With the exception of the unisex symbol on the front label,
ALL of the back label copy, along with the fact that it's an Androstenone-only product, would indicate to me that
it's a men's product. But I personally find the scent to be a decidedly feminine one. Mine is a very sweet
Peach/Apricot kind if fragrance. Very pleasant to smell, but not the sort of scent that I (as a male) would want to
use as a standalone fragrance.
Androstenone is included as a component in some of the women's products here,
(most notably: NPA/w (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=22),
TE/w (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=20),
TE/w/v (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=11), and the
Edge Essentials for Women (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=7),) but it isn't
the primary active phero component in these products. As far as I know, the only (ostensibly) Androstenone-only
women's product available at Love-Scent would be
APC/w (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=43).
My take on the inclusion of
Androstenone in women's products is that it's primarily there for "self-effect", along the lines of the "Realm
Theory" of pheromone use for "mood enhancement" of the wearer. (i.e. If you're feeling sexy you'll be acting
sexy.) But for a true "attractant" mix, I believe a women's phero application should include Copulins and/or
Androstenol as well.
Primal for Her (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=25)
would probably be a good candidate for combining with Pure Instinct since it has both A-Nol and Copulins and is
unscented.
Scent of Eros for Women (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=8) is
also A-Nol and Copulins, but it is scented, so I'm not sure whether the fragrances might clash.
For a
"Copulins-only" concentrate that's unscented there's
Essence of a Woman (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=35).
For a scented,
Cops-only, ready-to-wear, there's Passion
Copulin Concentrate (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=34).
And, lest I should forget, there is also
Women's PheroMax (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=9), another unscented
A-Nol/Copulins blend (though not nearly as good a deal $$'s/mg-wise as
PI/w (http://love-scent.com/product_info.php?ref=66&products_id=25))

Hi Oscar, thanks for that info I
have been curious about the content. The new bottles are labeled slightly different than what you have written and
leaves out the contents entirely.
