Anybody know why we

have such a thing? Seems like just another way to keep us confused. :LOL:

IIRC, in WWI we needed more

daylight to work so we could focus on more production. Therefore, we switched the clocks so people could work

longer with light. It also conserved precious energy because they didn't have to use artificial light as much. In

other words, it was a way to align the sun with the work day.

Seems to me that if they wanted

to align the sun with the work day they got it backwards. It would make more sense to set the time back in the

spring and foreward in the fall, wouldn't it?
