When UBB gets bigger, the more Server resources it wastes and the more mistakes it may occur. This problem is what I had before. Now, I switched to VB, which is based on PHP + Mysql. Much better.

Actually, the best forum software IMHO is www.fusetalk.com (\"http://www.fusetalk.com\") but it requires Cold Fusion running on the server and SQL server as the back-end database.

I have one dedicated SQL Server and one dedicated web server (2 physical computers) just to keep up with the demand on my forums--which has 20,000 users. I spend $970.00 a month on my T-1 connection to the internet. Be glad these forums are not THAT active yet...because it becomes a real concern regarding how to provide a \"free\" service for your users when it\'s costing you that much money out of your pocket!

I guess the main concern is how big the forum is for the love-scent business, is it a major source of links and orders or is it just a side issue with help and advice for users.
Bruce know the answer to that one.
